More news →I’d get more time to promote ‘Mausam Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor is not disturbed by the one-week delay in the release of her movie “Mausam” as she feels that she has got an extra week to promote her “first true love story”. “I would be able to promote my film for one more week. It’s absolutely fine if the release date got pushed by a week. We have worked very hard and we are waiting for the film to release for a long time. Another seven days don’t matter,” Sonam told IANS. The directorial debut of eminent actor Pankaj Kapoor, “Mausam” features Sonam as a Kashmiri girl who falls in love with a Punjabi boy, Shahid Kapoor. The Indian Air Force (IAF) had raised an objection to a 30-second scene in the film. Though the censor board had given a U-certificate to the film, IAF had given a conditional No Objection Certificate (NOC) as they wanted that 30-second sequence to be corrected. Getting the NOC from IAF after correction was too late to send prints overseas, which compelled the makers to postpone release from Sep 16 to Sep 23. The actress, who made her debut in acting with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Saawariya” opposite Ranbir Kapoor, describes “Mausam” as her first true love story. “I have never done a perfect love story. The film is about two people who want to be together. Here both of them love each other. I have never done a love story where both of them love each other,” said the actress who featured in films like “Delhi-6″, “I Hate Luv Storys”, “Aisha” and “Thank You”. Sonam, daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, is confident she would sustain long in the industry. “I know that I am here to stay. I work very hard and hopefully I would be here for a long time,” said the 26-year-old.
Madhu Masam begins songs recording
The first schedule of 'Madhu Masam' directed by Chandra Siddhartha of 'Aa Naluguru'-fame and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions with Sumanth, Sneha and Parvathi Melton in the lead was completed recently. The second schedule of the film would begin very soon. Meanwhile, songs recording for the film has begun at Mahathi Recording Studio in Film Nagar of Hyderabad. The film would complete the shooting and other post-production formalities soon and would be released in December or in January.
Madhu Masam shoot in progress
Canning of a song is in progress for 'Madhu Masam' directed by Chandra Siddhartha and produced by Movie Moghul Dr D Ramanaidu under the banner Suresh Productions. This film has Sumanth, Sneha and Parvati Melton in the lead. The song is being shot at Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda of Hyderabad. Addressing film journalists, Dr D Ramanaidu said, 'We are making a beautiful love story in an entertaining manner like our earlier films 'Nuvvuleka Nenulenu and Kalisundam' Raa.' Director Chandra Siddhartha is an asset for the film, while Manisharma's music is another highlight. Shooting of the talkie part would come to an end by December 16 and we will release the film after completing the post-production formalities.' Sumanth said, 'My long cherished desire to act in Suresh Productions' banner has been fulfilled with 'Madhu Masam.' It is really a beautiful love story. The story is very interesting and its narration by Chandra Siddhartha is further interesting.' Sneha said, 'I feel very fortunate to act in a film under Suresh Productions banner. I wish the film would be a big hit.' Satyanand is penning dialogues for this film.
'Madhu Masam' to hit screen on Feb. 9
Directed by Chandra Sidhartha and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions, 'Madhu Masam', with Suman, Sneha and Parvati Melton in the lead is almost ready but for the canning of a song which is in progress at Vizag. Manisharma gave lilting tunes for the film and the audio is all set to be launched during this month. The producer is planning to release the film on February 9 on the even of Valentine's Day. It is quite interesting that almost all the artistes in the film industry are working in this film.
'Karthika Masam' shooting in progress
The shooting of 'Karthika Masam' directed by Geddada Anandababu and produced by Anaparthi Sivarama Krishna on the banner of Mallikarjun Movies with popular Shaivaite temples in its backdrop, with Yashwant as hero is progressing well. The film had recently completed its first schedule. Speaking on the occasion, director says, 'A family goes on a pilgrimage to visit the Pancharamas and the film was based on this tour. It is a complete devotional movie. We have shot some important scenes during the first schedule. There are a total of nine songs in the movie and recording of all the songs was completed recently.' Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, LB Sriram, Annapurna, Kavita, Delhi Rajeswari, Ramireddy, Narra and others are in the cast. Lakshmi Vinayak is scoring music for the flick.
Suresh Productions film to be titled 'Madhu Masam'
Noted production house Suresh Productions is planning a film with Sumanth, who earned a decent image with 'Godavari' as hero, Sneha and Parvati Melton as heroines. The film is being produced by D Ramanaidu and directed by Chandra Siddharatha of 'Aa Naluguru'-fame. The film was formally launched on September 15 with puja activities and the regular shoot has begun from October 4. 'Madhu Masam' is the title being considered for the film which has a lot of family sentiment.
