The producers have been dilly-dallying about the release date of Rajendra Prasad starrer 'Mee Sreyobhilashi'. Now, they have confirmed that it will be released on the 29th of this month. Producer CC Reddy said that they freezed the final date after discussing the same with the film's distributor Dr D Ramanaidu. He also took the opportunity at the press conference to list out the plus points in adopting digital technology and said that the makers of small and medium budget films should take special care in planning their films and avoid unnecessary expenses.
'Mee Sreyobhilashi' climax from August 2
Picturisation of climax for 'Mee Sreyobhilashi', presented by CC Reddy and produced by Y Sonia Reddy on the banner of Visu Films Pvt Ltd, introducing V Eswara Reddy as director, with Dr Rajendra Prasad as hero is going to begin from August 2 at Horsley Hills. Dr Rajendra Prasad is playing the title role. His character is the well-wisher of everyone in the society. Especially, the role strives to stop the people who were about to commit suicide and counsel them from desisting their attempt. 'Nobody should take a drastic step and decide to end his/her life in a fit of anger. Such thoughts without giving a second thought would lead to severe repercussions' ' is the message to be driven through the movie. Presently post-production works are also going on at a fast pace. Hero Rajendra Prasad says, 'I am confident that this character would remain another milestone in my film career and would earn a place among the best characters I ever played in my career.'
'Mee Sreyobhilashi' completes shooting
The shooting of 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' directed by V Eswara Reddy, presented by CC Reddy, produced by Dr Y Sonia Reddy on the banner of Visu Films Pvt Ltd, with Nata Kireeti, Dr Rajendra Prasad, in the title role, was completed recently. Director Eswara Reddy says, 'We have shot the climax scenes at Horseley Hills near Madanapalli with helicopter. Our hero Rajendra Prasad had participated in some risky shots without the help of a dupe. Though our film is claiming to be a less budget film, we are using all the technical know-how used by heavy budget films. Presenter of the film CC Reddy is arranging whatever we wanted without any compromise. This had helped us in bringing out the film with good quality.' Hero Rajendra Prasad says, 'Of all my films in my career this film was shot with heavy budget especially during climax. The film would remain a sweet memory in my autobiography.' Project co-ordinator Babji says, 'Dr Rajendra Prasad strived for the film as if it is his own production and all the other artistes also adjusted the necessary dates and we thank all those who cooperated with us on this occasion.' Presently post-production works are in progress.
'Mee Sreyobhilashi' to be screened for Amitabh
The makers of 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' are now planning to show their film to Amitabh Bachchan and hope to get him to play the lead role in the Hindi version. Given the success and critical acclaim for their film, they are enthusiastic to make the film in almost all Indian languages. It seems, Nazir had already approached them for Tamil film rights. Now, if Amitabh likes the film, they hope it will get recognition at the national level. It goes without saying that director Eeswar Reddy is really thrilled with the turn of events and the unending praise the film has been getting.
Meena back with 'Mee Sreyobhilashi'
Comic actor Rajendra Prasad will be seen in Mee Sreyobhilashi being directed by V Eswar Reddy. Though the film is said to convey a message, it will be dealt in a lighter vein promises the director. Meena too will be seen after a very long gap along with Medha. The film is being produced under the Visu banner.
CC Reddys 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' to 39th IFFI
'Mee Sreyobhilashi' in Rajendra Prasad's performance was directed by V Eeshwar as his first time venture. Presented by CC Reddy, it was produced by Y Sonia Reddy on Vissu Films Pvt Ltd banner. News that stirs pride is 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' is the only Telugu film selected for the upcoming 39th IFFI in Indian Panorama, to be held at Goa during the months of Nov & Dec. In this connection presenter CC Reddy met the press on Thursday (30th Oct). He expressed his happiness over the selection of 'Mee Sreyobhilashi' as the only Telugu film to have made it to the Indian Panorama. "I am very happy that the film is parallel with Hindi films like 'Tare Zameen Par', 'A Wednesday' and 'Jodha Akhbar'. I am proud to say that our film has attained an esteemed honor for Tollywood on National level." He added that we made this movie as part to increase awareness and enhance human relations like friendship and humanity. We are all happy that the audience as well as critics has received it well, and also that it has made itself to the Indian Panorama. We will also make good movies in our future endeavors that are good for society, I am very determined about this. Our latest venture is one such kind of film having Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy in combination with Brahmanandam.
