Model-turned-actor Milind Soman married his latest flame the French actress Mylene Jampanoi in a quiet ceremony in Goa. Only his family and close friends were part of the festivity. Soman proposed and Mylene succumbed. It was as simple as that. Milind Soman is no spring chicken. He must be in his early forties. And has had a spate of highly publicized but failed relationships. The more famous names associated with him have been Madhu Sapre, Tabu and Gul Panag. The supermodel in him has tasted enormous success. His chiseled physique and Greek God looks have been compared to perfection. When models get bored with the routine ramp walks and hit music videos they turn to films. Milind tried the same route as well. The only notable acting experience that he has had so far is Mani Shankar's '16December'. He also flirted as a producer with 'Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula' that bombed at the Box Office. In spite of repeated failures in Bollywood, Milind continues to try his luck. He shall be seen next in a nondescript movie called 'Kathputli'. MusicMazaa says: Congratulations Milind for your marriage. We would like to see you hit the ramp and sell products on television. We don't mind you doling out your booty in music videos either. As for films, the writing is on the wall. Miss it at your own peril.
Milind Soman as Jesus Christ?
Looks like super hunk Milind Soman wants to retain the Jesus Christ, Super star look, that he has been sporting for quite sometime now. An insider from the production unit of 'Bhram' tells us that Milind Soman, who plays the role of a suave businessman in the film, was supposed to shave off his flowing beard for a particular scene. But Milind is so much in love with his bearded look, he refused to do so. He insisted that the shot can be taken without compromising on his beard, which he has painstakingly grown. Looks like, the way he is guarding his bearded look, it's 'Praan Jaye Par 'Beard' na Jaye!!
Anand Milind and Lata team up again
Lataji, the living musical legend is recuperating from illness. She was recently down with viral flu. This has pushed back many of her recordings that she was to do last month. There is a song for Shamir Tandon who is doing the music for Madhur Bhandarkar's next film. She was quite happy to have worked with such a young talented music director. The songs like Kitne Ajeeb from Page 3 keeps Lataji young and ticking. She also has Oriya and Bengali films for recording. She also has a song pending for Vinay of the Nikhil Vinay duo. They have long parted ways. Vinay is composing music for his elder brother's film. Fortunately old music director duo Anand Milind has not parted ways. They are composing music for a new film Kuch Tum Bhi Kaho Kuch Hum Bhi Kahein. They have been busy on it for over a month. It is for this film that the duo has reunited with Lataji after a long time interval. Lataji was incidentally the first singer to record for Anand Milind in their times. The music directors are waiting for her to recuperate completely before they start working. Lataji also has a special recording with Aadesh Shrivastav.
Deepshikha to destroy Milind Soman's reputation?
Media Magnate Nari Hira's 'Bhram' slated to be released on March 14 has actress Deepshika, apparently playing a role closely based on the life of columnist Shobha De. In fact Shobha De' was a prot©g© of Nari Hira, who gave her a break as the editor of the film magazine Stardust. Shobha De had become famous by writing about the stars and their personal lives. The look and dressing style of Deepshika is completely based on Shobhaa De's look and personality, even to fine details of Shobha's trademark silk and chiffon saree look, bindis, funky junk jewellery et al. The character of Deepshikha in the film is called Sunita who is a Page 3 journalist by profession, and thrives on writing spicy news of the rich and famous. She is perpetually on the lookout for controversies. She is all out to expose Milind Soman, who plays an investment banker, and destroy his reputation. In fact sources say that Bhavna Iyer, who has written the story of Bhram, was also the editor of Stardust and therefore was in the know-how of the in and out of spicy journalism. Deepshikha did not mind her character to be based on Shobhaa De.
