One of the widely appreciated films of late Shanker Nag (actor cum director) in which his elder brother Ananth Nag also played the lead role 'Minchina Ota' title is repeated again in Kannada. That was mid 80's and now in 2007 Thanu Chitra producer Sa.Ra.Govindu and 'Cyanide' fame director A.M.R.Ramesh have picked the same title and paying tribute to late Shanker Nag from this film. The story is different and siblings Vijay Raghavendra and Murali are teamed with lanky lass Lakshmi Rai as heroine in the film. The film went on the floor on Monday. Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar the leading producer graced the occasion to switch on the camera for her brother, S.A.Chinne Gowda's sons film Vijay and Murali film. Producer Sa.Ra.Govindu's biggest budget cinema in his career 'Minchina Ota' is technically advance when it comes before the audience says director AMR Ramesh who made award winning 'Cyanide' last year.
