More news →Gautham Menon reveals why he will never forgive Madhavan in his lifetime
During a recent conversation with director Gautham Menon, we had asked if it was true that Mani Ratnam did not want Madhavan to do Minnale after GVM narrated the script to Mani Ratnam. AYM director gave us an interesting reply that not many might know. “Why I will never forgive Madhavan is because he got me into this weird situation to narrate a story to Mani sir. Mani sir saying yes or no to my script did not matter but for me, to narrate a script to him was a very uncomfortable experience and I was very terrified that day. All I had in mind was, that I am going to narrate a ‘sappa’ story to a man like Mani Ratnam who has been a big inspiration to me. I know how important is Mani sir’s time, and for me to sit with him for 1 hour and narrate a story that I know he is not going to like was disturbing. I was in a mindset of how to impress him which made me more nervous. For this reason, I will never forgive Maddy.”

A few days back, it was said that successful female lyricist Thamarai has been called on by the ace director Mani Ratnam for writing the dialogues for his next movie after Raavan. But now, the latest buzz is that Thamarai denies writing dialogues for Mani Ratnam’s upcoming flick to be with Silambarasan.
