Navadeep bags chance to work in AVM's film

Working in a prestigious banner like AVM is nothing but a boon and a big promotion. Very recently Varun Sandesh of 'Happy Days' fame bagged one such opportunity. After a long time, AVM Productions is doing a straight Telugu film and Varun got a chance to play hero in that film. Very recently, another upcoming hero Navadeep also bagged one such offer. However, this film is being made by AVM in Tamil, which is the remake of the successful Telugu film 'Chandamama' of Krishnavamsi. It is worth mentioning here that Navadeep entered the films through 'Jai' of Teja. Though he played hero in several films including 'Modati Cinema, Manasu Maata Vinadu, Prema Lokam and Gautham SSC', he failed to get adequate break. However, 'Chandamama' gave him an opportunity to get the necessary commercial break. Both Navadeep and Sivabalaji, who played heroes in the Telugu version were again selected for the Tamil version. Monica was selected as one of the heroines, while Prabhu is playing the role played by Nagababu. A successful Tamil director Sabhapati is directing this movie.

Almost all the comedians in the Telugu film industry were turning heroes these days. It was Brahmanandam some time go, later it was the turn of Ali, next Venumadhav and then Sunil. Now it is Krishna Bhagawan who is appearing on the screen as hero. Kuchipudi Venkat, who made his debut as director through 'Modati Cinema' is directing the movie and 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus' is the title confirmed for the flick. Earlier, the film unit tried to rope in Bollywood beauty Mandira Bedi as heroine. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances, Simran replaced her. It is well aware that Simran had started her second innings in the film industry after her marriage with 'Okka Magaadu'. After that this is her next film in Telugu. Besides these, Simran is also playing in a Malayalam movie. The Krishna Bhagawan starrer would go for regular shoot in the US in August. However, the film would be formally launched here very soon.
