'Only Balaiah could be 'Okka Mogadu''

YVS Choudhary insists there wouldn't have been 'Okka Magadu', if the project wouldn't have enticed Balakrishna. He says the inspiration for the story came during the shooting of Seetaiah, which has a song that starts off as Okka magadu' Ever since, he had worked on the script and when he took the story to Balakrishna, he is said to have liked it instantly. Big films happen when the stars like what the directors take to them, says Choudhary and adds that the timing should be perfect though. The trick is to give them what they expect at the right time, he adds. However, had Balakrishna refused doing the film, he says the script would have gone into cold storage as he could not visualize anyone but him in the role.

Nags son goes to watch Okka Mogadu

He was barely recognizable as he mingled with the crowds at the Prasads. In a brown T shirt and beige trousers, he looked like any other young boy who had come to watch the film. But Nagarjuna's son Chaitanya is hard to be missed even in a crowd. He happened to watch the 12.45 show of Okka Mogadu along with friends. However, he left after the second half began. We know he is getting trained to get into the film industry. While some say he will debut as a director, some say he will debut as a leading man. Wonder whether the direction or action enticed him? While there, we also spotted comedian and character artiste AVS and singer Raghu Kunche.
