More news →'Mr Medhavi' completes talkie
The talkie part shooting of 'Mr Medhavi' directed by Neelakanta and produced by B Rama Rao on the banner of Lifestyle Art Pictures with Raja and Genelia in the lead was completed recently. The film had an uninterrupted shooting for the past two months in and around Hyderabad. The director moulded the flick as a romantic entertainer. The director tried his best to portray the delicate feelings of the hero and heroine in a love track on the celluloid. As per the story, the hero works in a corporate office, while the heroine was a NRI. Both of them fall in love with each other. Though the basic story is based on love theme, the film was not just aimed at youth audiences but could be enjoyed by the entire family by sitting together. Canning of songs for the film would begin from September 17. Chakri is providing melodious music for the movie.
'Mr Medhavi' in post-production
Shooting of 'Mr Medhavi' directed by National Best Screenplay awardee Neelakanta, and produced by B Rama Rao on the banner of Lifestyle Art Pictures with Raja of 'Anand'-fame as hero, Genelia D'Souza as heroine, was completed recently. Presently post-production works are in progress. Hero Raja is playing the role of an employee of a corporate company, who falls in love with an NRI girl. Genelia is playing the NRI girl. What happened next and whether their love affair was a success or not form part of the climax. The director of the film Neelakanta had bagged an award at national level with his film 'Show'. However, two films which he directed later failed to prove hits on expected levels. It is learnt that Neelakanta is committed to prove that he too could bring out commercial films successfully by making 'Mr Medhavi' a big hit.

Chakri has composed the music for this film that gives an insight into the corporate world. Since it is being directed by Neelakantha, there are a lot of expectations that it would be an interesting take on the younger generation of upwardly mobile executives from the corporate world. The film has Raja and Genelia in the lead. Lyricist Bhuvanachandra too has come up with some good songs to go with the plot of the film. The film's audio will be released on December 15 in a star-studded function. The film's audio rights have been bought by Aditya Music.
'Mr Medhavi' to hit the screens on Jan 26
Our corporate couple is all set to hit the theatres on the Republic Day. Directed by Neelakanta, the film has generated a lot of expectations already. It has Raja and Genelia in the lead and revolves around their love story. The music has been composed by Chakri. Genelia is all excited about the role as she plays an NRI who comes back to India in the film. Also after all the awards that she has got for 'Dhee' in 2007, she hopes Mr Medhavi will work wonders for her in 2008.
'Mr Gireesham' nearing completion
Ramesh Chandra produced Krishna Bhagavan and Ramyakrishna cast Mister Gireesham already completed two schedules and 70 percent of the talkie. The next schedule is slated on 2nd week of August with all talkie part will be completed and songs of the movie has been planned to shoot at beautiful locations of Hyderabad, Vizag and Aruku. According to the producer there will be 5-songs in the movie, for which lyrics are composed by Kulasekhar, Ramajogaiah Sastry, Chaitanya Prasad and Peddada Murthy; while music is composed by SA Khuddus. The producer hopes that the songs will be listed amongst the top list of audios of 2008. The makers of the move plan to release the audio on the eve of Vinayaka Chathurthi, through a popular audio company in the presence of prominent persons from Tollywood. The film is scheduled to be released at the end of September which is produced by 'SRC Creations' banner. 'Mr.Gireesham' comes yare
'Mr. Gireesham' stars Ramyakrishna after a gap in a prominent role is being pitted against Krishna Bhagwan playing the title role. The film is directed by Viswa Prasad for which K Rameshchandra Benerjeebabu does the production work. SRTRC Creations presents the film and it has completed 70 percent of its talkie portions. Recently, the crew of the film met the press to brief about this near ending at Film Nagar, Hyderabad. Speaking to the media, Krishna Bhagavan said, "Till now 70 per cent of the shooting has been completed, in two schedules including four out of the five songs composed. The third & final schedule will be finished by the 10th of October. The character of Gireesham created in the classic drama Kanyasulkam, by the legend writer Gurajada Appa Rao; has been modernized a little and designed to suit the present society." 'Mr. Gireesham' was launched on 6th June, and has completed about 70 percent of shooting till now. The director and producer of the film are planning to complete the pending part shortly, and release the film in the 2nd week of November.
