As his recent films 'Orissa' and 'Pathiramanal' didn't do any good to its lead actor Unni Mukundan, the talks over the popularity of the actor is getting lesser these days. His big project 'Samrajyam 2' was expected to reach the theatres last month, but was pushed for a new date due to technical reasons. The actor has anyway started the shoot of his new movie titled 'The Last Supper' with debutante director Nivil. Earlier the movie was supposed to cast the 'Neram' star Nivin Poly in the lead. The Last Supper' which is also scripted by Nivil with support from Shameer Sainu and Deepak Dharnindran will be a full length entertainer movie told around a tale based on humour and friendship. Unni Mukundan comes up as a computer hacker in the police department while Sreenath Bhasi, Mariya John, Pearley Maaney and others will include the cast of this movie. Ajayan Vincent is the cameraman while Gopi Sunder composes music for the lines of Rafeeq Ahmed. The movie is produced by Mammootty's personal makeup man S George in the banner of CYN CYL Celluloid . His first movie as a producer ' Immanuel' was a big hit that celebrated 100 days recently.
Unni Mukundan goes the Nivin Pauly way
Unni Mukundan will soon be seen in a mass avatar. His role in Muhsin Parari upcoming release 'KL 10 Pathu', will see him as a macho hero. Interestingly, comparisons with Nivin Pauly are doing the rounds. As with most Nivin Pauly movies, along with the macho elements, the shy side will also be explored. The trailer, teaser and songs of 'KL 10 Pathu' has come out and all of them shows Unni Mukundan in a mass avatar. The movie is slated to reach the screen for Ramzan. Nivin Pauly's role in 'Premam' had generated much interest and Unni's role in 'KL 10 Pathu' and the similarities between the two are being talked about.
I'm Not Marrying Sanusha Santhosh: Unni Mukundan
Unni Mukundan, the young actor confirmed that he is not marrying the popular actress Sanusha Santhosh. The actor slammed the wedding rumours through his official Facebook page, recently. Reports regarding Unni Mukundan and Sanusha Santhosh's relationship has been doing rounds since the last few days in social media. The reports suggested that the duo is planning to tie the knot this year. A picture of Unni and Sanusha was also circulating in the media, which strengthened the rumours. But Unni clarified that it was a picture clicked during a shooting schedule and he is not getting married. Earlier, Unni Mukundan was linked to Remya Nambeesan, immediately after the release of their movie, Ithu Pathiramanal. But both Unni and Remya strongly denied the rumours, stating that they are just friends. Unni Mukundan is undoubtedly one of the most eligible bachelors of the industry. The actor has always stated that he doesn't want to marry an actress and prefers a simple girl with a different profession. Interestingly, Unni is all set to make his Telugu movie debut with the upcoming Mohanlal-Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage. He is also playing one of the lead roles in the upcoming multi-starrer Avarude Ravukal.
Mukunda wrapped, getting ready for Christmas release
Mega Prince Varun Tej's debut film Mukunda has wrapped up all the shooting including the patch works. “Wrapped up the shoot of #mukunda yesterday...It has been a memorable experience..Got done with my part..Movie is out on the 24th December!..”, he posted in his official social networking page. After releasing the superhit audio album composed by Mickey J Meyer, Mukunda makers are gearing up to release the Mega brother Nagababu son's launch pad, Mukunda for the Christmas weekend, on 24th December. Pooja Hegde is playing Varun Tej's love interest in this Srikanth Addala directorial, Mukunda produced by Tagore Madhu's Leo Productions banner.
Mukunda Murari Webiste Launched
On the occasion of Sudeep birthday Multi starrer movie Mukunda Murari website was launched at Sudeep house. Mukunda Murari starring Upendra, Sudeep, Nikitha in lead is produced by MN Kumar and Jayashreedevi directed by Nandakishore. During this time First look of the movie photo and teaser was also launched.
'Krishna Mukunda Murari' to be Krish-Venkatesh combo
It is well aware that Venkatesh had agreed to do a film in the direction of Jagarlamudi Radhakrishnamurthy at Krish of 'Gamyam'-fame, which is going to be produced by C Aswanidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies. It is reliably learnt that 'Krishna Mukunda Murari' is the title registered for the flick. Sources in the film unit say, 'Priyanka Chopra is being roped in as heroin.' Presently, Venkatesh is busy with 'Chintakayala Ravi', produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) and directed by Yogi of 'Oka Raju Oka Rani'-fame. 'Chintakayala Ravi' is getting ready for release during Dasara season. After completing that movie, Venkatesh-Krish combo would go to sets. The most interesting point in this project is that the producer reportedly offered Rs 1 crore to the director for the movie.
