Dil' Raju had completed a hat-trick with the successive hits like 'Dil', 'Arya' and 'Bhadra'. He was planning for another hat-trick and achieved the first hit in the form of 'Bommarillu'. Now his second film 'Munna' with Young Rebel Star Prabhas as hero and Ileana as heroine is on sets. The film is being directed by a debutant director Vamsi. This heavy budget film which is being made on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations had completed 50 per cent shoot so far. The producer is planning to release the film in March 2007 as a summer special. It may be recalled that almost all the films by 'Dil' Raju's were released as summer specials and proved big hits. Hope this film would become a big hit and change 'Dil' Raju's name as 'Summer' Raju. Harris Jayaraj is providing music for this prestigious film.
Munna to be released as summer gift
'Dil' Raju, who had achieved a hat trick with the continuous successes of 'Dil', 'Arya', and 'Bhadra', is getting ready for double hat trick. His latest film 'Bommarillu' became a sensational hit. His next film 'Munna', featuring Young Rebel Star Prabhas as hero, is getting ready under the direction of debutant Vamsi. The producer is planning to release the film as a summer gift. Ileana, who robbed the hearts of the youth, with her glamour in 'Devadasu' and 'Pokiri' is pairing up with Prabhas for this film. It was earlier planned to be released in November. However, it was postponed to be released in summer, as Dil Raju has a strong sentiment that all his earlier films were released during summer and proved hits. Harris Jayaraj is providing music for the film and it was strongly felt that the film would continue the success stream of the producer.
Munna completes 60 per cent shoot
More than 60 per cent shooting of 'Munna' directed by debutant Vamsi Paidipalli and produced by 'Dil' Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations with Young Rebel Star Prabhas, heart throb of Telugu audiences Ileana in the lead. The first half of the film was totally completed and 10 per cent shoot of the second half was also finished. The producer is making the film with a heavy budget and each frame and each scene would look very rich in this film. Harris Jairaj, who gave a tremendous music for films like 'Aparichitudu' is giving tunes to all the songs. The next schedule would begin on December 11 and would continue till the end of the film shooting. It is planned to release the film on March 28 next year.
Munna' to be a stylish movie
The Prabhas-Ileana starrer, 'Munna', directed by debutant Vamsi Paidapalli, and produced by young and dynamic producer Dil Raju on the banner of 'Sri Venkateswara Cine Creations' had completed 70 per cent of the shooting. Producer Dil Raju says, 'In this heavy budget film, the character of Prabhas was moulded in a very stylish way and will have a good stature. It is basically an emotional game for Prabhas after 'Chatrapati'. Ileana's performance would remain a highlight in this film. Harris Jairaj is providing music for 'Munna' and we are planning to release the audio in February. Our film would hit the screen on March 28 as the first summer special film in 2007. After the release of 'Munna', Vamsi Paidipalli would earn a place among the top directors of the Telugu film industry.'
'Munna' shoots action scenes
Young Rebel Star Prabhas, who earned a good mass image with 'Chatrapati', is playing hero, while Ileana playing the female lead for 'Munna' directed by debutant Vamsi Paidipalli and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. This heavy budget film had completed 70 per cent of shooting. Presently, the shooting is going at a brisk pace and some action scenes are being shot now at Begumpet. Prabhas would appear in a stylish character in this film as 'Munna'. The film would showcase the production values of Dil Raju, while Tamil music director Harris Jairaj is providing melodious tunes to all the songs. The producer is making efforts to release the film on March 28. The audio would be released into the market during the second week of March. Shriya is going to shake her legs for an item song in this film.

The film had already completed 70 per cent of the shooting and is in brisk progress. Shriya is playing an item number in a special song. The film has music from Harris Jayaraj. The film would have a different and stylish look. Prabhas is also looked quite stylish than all his earlier films. The film is said to be a big hit even in the music front. Vamsy Paidipally's direction would be a highlight. The current schedule would continue there till the end of the shooting. The producer is planning to release the audio in the second week of March, while the film is slated for release on March 28.
