Jeevan starrer Naan Avanillai is fast progressing. The movie featuring a host of heroines including Sneha and Namitha opposite Jeevan is almost completed. The movie is a remake of yesteryear classic Naan Avanillai which starred Gemini Ganesan. The shooting of a song sequence involving Jeevan has been in progress in Dubai since yesterday. Those portions with Sneha and Jeevan is planed to be shot in malls across Dubai, while those with Jeevan and Namitha will be shot in the vast deserts of the same place. Sneha, in the meanwhile, is absolutely delighted to go all the way to Dubai. Guess why? Sneha hails from Dubai. All her relatives still reside there. Once the shooting is over, she has planned to visit all her relatives. Soon after her return, she would join the sets of Thangar Bachchan's Pallikoodam to continue playing the role of Gokila teacher.
Naan Avanillai opens big
Director Selvah's Naan Avanillai starring Jeevan and host of heroines has opened big. The movie released on Friday witnessed huge crowds in all the theatres where the movie has been screened. The movie released in over six screens in Chennai and all the shows were reported house full. The movie is a remake of yesteryear classic titled the same directed by K Balachander. All the heroines including Sneha, Malavika, Namitha, Keerthi Chawla and Jyothirmayi won acclaims for their performance. Says Jeevan, 'I am thankful to the masses for giving a bumper opening to the film. I am confident that this would go on to become a huge hit'. Selvah too is elated at the grand opening. 'I was initially tensed. But the support given by the people has made me happy', he adds.
Naan Avanillai going steady
Director Selvah and his team are brimming with joy. Naan Avanillai has managed to hit the bull's eye. The movie opened last week has reportedly collecting good revenue at the box office. Says Selvah, 'Our hard work is finally recognized. Women have been thronging theatres in large numbers. All the artistes and technicians deserve a pat for making the movie count'. A remake of yesteryear hit titled the same, the new version has won good reviews. Also the songs by Vijay Anthony have become big hits. Amidst a host of Tamil New Year releases, Naan Avanillai still continues to dictate terms at the box office. 'I am happy to see audience enjoy the movie in theatres', says Jeevan.

Nemichand Jabak's Naan Avanillai starring Jeevan is gearing up, completes a 100-day run. Directed by Selvah, the movie was a remake of yesteryear hit titled the same directed by K Balachander. The new version has sought-after heroines Sneha, Namitha, Malavika, Jyothirmayi and Keerthi Chawla. The movie has witnessed housefull 93 day run so far. Nemichand Jabak should be a happy man now. Selvah too is thrilled. He says, 'Audiences are ready to accept new attempts and different storyline'.

Hemmed in by five heroines, Jeevan has a whale of a time in the slickly directed version of Selvah. Produced by Japak, Naan Avanillai has successfully completed a 50-day run in theatres and is still going strong. Amidst films with the hero mouthing loads of punch dialogues and a gun in tow, the movie has come as a pleasant surprise for this genre of audience. Jeevan's good performance as a cool dude Casanova and the able support of leading ladies Sneha, Malavika, Namitha, Keerthi Chawla and Jyothirmayi wooed audience to theatres. Even for the ones who had seen the original, the remake providing the right joy thanks to the engrossing look of the projected version. Job well done Selvah.
