The first theatrical trailer of actor Jr. NTR's Telugu family drama "Naanaku Prematho" guarantees an extremely stylish film with a very gripping and racy story. The trailer, which has elicited lot of positive response from netizens, features NTR in his most stylish avatar ever. Directed by Sukumar, the film is predominantly shot in Spain, and revolves around the relationship between a father and his son. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad plays NTR's father in the film, while Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist. The movie is slated to release on January 13 next year, and the makers hope to ring in the New Year with a bang. Produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad. It will be released overseas by CineGalaxy Inc.
Nannaku Prematho Team Clears All The Hurdles
We had already reported that State Minorities Commission has issued a notice to Nannaku Prematho team demanding a reply for the allegedly objectionable posters of Nannaku Prematho as it has Prophet Mohammed and Quran Symbols. As per the latest reports, the team of Nannaku Prematho reacted to the notices and offered an unconditional apology to the concerned community. They also released a statement of apology and asked apology from the particular members who got hurt with the poster.They mentioned that they are not against any community or religious sentiments of any religion. They further added that this mistake happened without their knowledge and also assured that they would changed the background of the posters with immediate effect.Well, with this apology, Nannaku Prematho team puts a full stop to the entire issue. Meanwhile, the post-production works are progressing at a jet speed and is all set to hit the screens on January 13th.
'Nannaku Prematho' joins $1 mn club at US box office
Actor Jr. NTR-starrer Telugu drama "Nannaku Prematho", an emotional drama between a father and son, has entered the $1 million club in the US in just three days since its release. "The film has crossed the $1 million collection milestone at the US box office. This is the first film of the year to reach there in such a short span of time," read a statement from CineGalaxy Inc, the overseas distributor of the film. Directed by Sukumar, the film also features Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles. In India, since its release on Wednesday, the film has raked in over Rs.30 crore. "It's most likely expected to collect over Rs.50 crore by the weekend. Despite mixed reviews, the film has managed to impress film goers and NTR's fans too," trade analyst Trinath told. The film is produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad and distributed by Reliance Entertainment.

Actor Jr. NTR's Telugu outing "Nannaku Prematho", despite mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, has managed to earn over Rs.50 crore in the worldwide ticket window in just two weeks. "We are really happy that the film has entered the Rs.50 crore club. It's doing really well at the box-office, especially in the US. I'm glad audiences have accepted a novel attempt. I can't thank them enough," film producer B.V.S.N. Prasad told. Directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles. Prasad hopes the film will soon enter the Rs.100 crore club. "The way it's performing, it's most likely to rake in over Rs.100 crore very soon," he said.
