After a decent outing in Kollywood, it's now time for J K Ritheesh to set Tollywood in storm. For, his latest release 'Nayagan' is set to speak Telugu soon. According to reports, a couple of Telugu producers, who had a chance to watch the film were impressed by it and expressed their interest to bag the dubbing rights. Following this, it is said that the film will soon be dubbed in Telugu and will hit the theatres with the title 'Ankusam'.
Nayagan scores 50
'Veera Thalapathy' J K Ritheesh's Nayagan has managed to complete a 50-day run across theatres in Tamilnadu. The movie which was inpsired by the Hollywood hit 'Cellular' had Ritheesh and Ramana playing the lead roles. Sangeetha played a cameo in the film. Though the movie got some mixed reviews, it has managed to complete a 50-day run at the box office. A thrilled Ritheesh says it has emboldened him to start his next venture soon. Buzz is that Ritheesh is contemplating to begin an action-packed venture next. It is tentatively titled 'Vettaikara Puli'.
J K Ritheesh's 'Nayagan' released
J K Ritheesh's second venture 'Nayagan' hits the screens on Friday. Produced by Vijayakumar Reddy, the movie inspired by the Hollywood flick 'Cellular' features Ramana alongside Ritheesh. Touted as a racy thriller, the movie will be releasing in over 100 screens across the State. Sangeetha, Anandhraj, Sreeman among others play prominent parts in the film. S. Ve. Shekher's son Ashwin made his debut with 'Vegam', a year ago. Interestingly this film too was inspired by Cellular. Ritheesh plays an honest cop while Ramana is cast as a youngster who is on a mission to save a woman, kidnapped by a gang. Keerthy Chawla, Vaiyapuri and Anitha play important roles.
