Nanas court case is false?

Nana Patekar is an unusual actor who prefers to lead a reclusive life. On his own terms and conditions. He is also a national level shooter as well. Well, he combined his goofiness with his trigger happy ways when on May 13th 2005 he allegedly threatened industrialist Kamal Morarka's nephew Utkarsh with a revolver after a near collision between the both their cars on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. Utkarsh lodged a complaint with the police. Nana on his part lodged a counter-complaint that on his way to Pune two unidentified men in a Scorpio almost hit his Lancer and that it was an attempt to murder. After almost one and a half years, the matter seems to be winding up. The Deonar Police who are investigating the complaints have claimed that the cases are false and should be dismissed. Last week they filed a report in a magistrate's court at Kurla seeking permission to classify the cases as 'B' summary i.e. false cases. The court has asked Utkasrh and Nana Patekar to be present on January 9, 2007 to let the court know if either of them wants to pursue their complaints. The police had earlier charged Patekar under sections 323, 504 and 506 (2) of the IPC and certain sections of the Arms Act. Patekar had later secured an anticipatory bail from the Bombay High Court. It seems in all probability that the case will be quashed on January 9th and hopefully Patekar won't go gun hopping again considering the price Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan have paid in the past. He had a hit this year in the form of 'Taxi No 9 2 11' and is all set to star along with Shahid Kapoor in a comedy to be directed by Rohit Shetty (Golmaal fame).

"Nana and Bobby are bonding well" - Sangeeth Sivan

"Nana (Patekar) and Bobby (Deol) are really bonding well on the sets", says Sangeeth Sivan, "now that's really helping the progress of my film." Speaking from Chandigarh, Sangeeth Sivan who has two comic hits KYA KOOL HAIN HUM and APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY under his belt is soon bringing his yet untitled venture towards completion. "Around 60% of the film is completed and once I am done with the ongoing Chandigrah schedule, I would be just left with filming the climax that would take place in Mumbai", he divulges. So is he still undecided about the film's titled? "No, we should have it finalized very soon," says Sangeeth, "we have short listed a few and it's just a matter of picking one from them." So is it going to be an action or romantic title for this much publicized DIE HARD MEETS YASH CHOPRA film? Laughs Sangeeth, "It is going to be an action title and most likely would be in English". Shreya Saran's name came as a pleasant surprise since not many could see that coming. "Well, we were looking for someone who was not a very known face", he says with a matter of fact, "We were auditioning a lot of girls and she also went through the normal process of screen tests. She passed and soon was on!" The film has been in news ever since it was announced. An action thriller with romantic elements, the film stars Bobby in gray shades with Nana playing a law keeper. Recently there was a decent hype built for the film when Bobby's jump from 14th floor for an action sequence made headlines.
