With just a paltry role in 'Dhuniya' that clicked and got attention to Yogish has given him the ladder to become the hero in 'Nanda Love Nandhita'. He is playing a ruffian lost in the gang of youngsters without education. The film also shows how important is the duty of parents in giving education to children says story writer Ajaykumar a specialist in tear jerker stories in Kannada. This is the 5th directorial venture of Vijayakumar who had given a hit film 'Kannadadha Kandha' last year. The shooting starts from 24th of this month in and around Bangalore. The muhurut for this film was held at Kanteerava studio on Gowri festival day. Known as 'Loose Madha' of 'Dhuniya' the blockbuster film produced by his father T.P.Siddaraju the sleek looking Yogish admitted that he has to gear up in acting because there is enough scope for acting in this film. He has learnt action portions. Come next May 2008 his father T.P.Siddaraju is producing a film for Yogish. Emil who worked in the camp of A.R.Rehman and Jaasie Gift is scoring music for the first time in Kannada. Mathew Rajan is making use of the natural light for cinematography in this film to give a wonderful visual feel to the audience.
Nanda Nanditha 50
The surprise hit of this year 'Nanda Loves Nanditha' held a success party on Wednesday evening at Green House restaurant on completion of 50 days successfully in 13 centers of Karnataka. The film is now at the 62nd day of screening and brought a profit of Rs.75 lakhs to the producer Ramesh Kashyap. The film running for 50 theatres in one of the biggest theatres of Karnataka Kapali is equivalent to the film running 100 days felt producer Kashyap. He is happy with the Akshay Audio reaching nook and corner of Karnataka. 'I am relieved of the responsibility on my shoulders with the success' said the eminent story writer Ajaikumar addressing the media. My popularity has increased from one of the top songs of this film Jinke Marina'..disclosed the choreographer Imran Sardaria. From Shwethashri I became Nanditha from this film but I am recognized as 'Jinkemari' (Deer) by the fans from my first film was the happy disclosure of actress of the film. I should thank everyone immensely and my family for the support informed hero Yogish. 'Nanda Deepa' ready
Famous cameraman of Kannada cinema and producer of two films 'Shastry and Snehana Preethina' materializing his dream of two decades by finishing the third film production of his career. The film 'Nanda Deepa' based on a song 'Kannirina Kathe of famous folk singer Gururaja Hoskote has been completed in 25 days in Shamshi village in Hubli. The film 'Nanda Deepa' is ready for release on 1st of August 2008. While 35 years ago written song 'Kannirina Kathe' is Anaji Nagaraj's most favorite song for the same song director Shivu Hiremath had made the script 10 years ago. Both joining together in Namana Films the film is ready now. Dynamic star Devaraj, popular actress Shruthi, Master Manoj, Sanjana play the lead roles in this film. The film focuses on the need of education and danger of step mother. The author of the song Kannirina Kathe Gururaja Hoskote speaking on this occasion disclosed that he had written this song in 1973. Although the film is based on Gururaj Hoskote song the theme song for the film is written by Dr.Nagendra Prasad. The content of the Hoskote song is used for the subject of the film. There are four songs in the film 'Nanda Deepa' in which two songs are written by Hoskote and Nagendra Prasad. Gururaja Hoskote the hot favorite in folk music and singing has scored the music for the film. The audio of 'Nanda Deepa' was released by two senior journalists Udaya Marakkini and A.S.Murthy at Green House restaurant on Monday evening. Nanda Kishore Spoilt For Choice
After the success of Ranna director Nanda Kishore has a hattrick of hits. Not surprisingly therefore there are many offers for his next film. He is now planning for the next movie. This week he will be finalising the options and decide for whom he will be directing his next movie. Already he has committed to direct films for Dhruva Sarja, Radhika Kumaraswamy and Pradeepa. Speaking to Chitraloka he said bounded scripts are ready with him. "This time I am giving the complete budget list to the producer. Later on they should not blame me. Let me wait and we will know whose project will start first," he said.
Nana or Shetty in Kannada
Either Nana Patekar or Suneil Shetty of Hindi cinema will be accepting a guest appearance role that runs for five minutes in Kannada film 'Neene Ella'. They will taken part in one fight, one song and one scene. The connection of director Sachin Makhamar in Mumbai for the last 10 years working with Lawerence D'Souza, Vikram Bhat, B.R.Ishara, Dinesh Dubey and Mohammad Ali perhaps given him invite one of the top actors to Kannada cinema. Sachin has worked in the camp of Balaji TV for three years as script supervisor. Taking up the first film for UK resident Mr Joy and executive producer Rohan Pradeep debutant director Sachin has worked on the real life incident of his friend for script. Bharat and Amrutha play the lead roles and this is debut for both. Director Sachin has very systematically arranged the chart of his maiden film production. July 15th he is starting the shooting, audio CD and promos of the film is planned for October 20, international premier of the film at United Kingdom is slated for November 13. Another premier is scheduled for Nov 19 and for the public the film will be released on November 21. Neel is scoring the music while Guru Prasad is the cameraman of this film. Ravindra and Tabala Naani have penned the dialogues.
Nana Pateker in Yogaraj Bhatt's Movie?
Yogaraj Bhatt's new film which he has plans to do in Hindi is making a lot of news even before its launch. First there was news that Amitabh Bachchan would be a part of the film. Now, there is news that Nana Patekar might do a pivotal role in the film. Bhatt says he is planning to cast Nana Patekar in the film. 'I have a good role for Nana Patekar. I had a chat with Nana Patekar. Before meeting him for the second time, I have to finish the story first for which I am working. Everything will be finalised in the next few days' says Yogaraj Bhatt. If Nana Patekar and Amitabh Bachchan agree to be a part of the film, then this will be their second outing together. Earlier, Amitabh and Nana had both acted together in a film called 'Kohram' in 1999. The film which was directed by Mehul Kumar was a failure at the box-office.
