Nandi Productions' film in progress
The shooting of a film produced by Sivakumar on the banner of Nandi Productions introducing Mallikarjun as director, with Real Star, Dr Srihari and Raja of 'Anand'-fame, is going on at a brisk pace. Manisharma is scoring music for this movie. The film is presently shooting at Rajahmundry. The shooting was began on September 12 and would continue till September 30, i.e., for about 18 days in Rajahmundry and its surrounding areas. Besides some key scenes, one family song is being choreographed during this schedule. Another young hero is also going to play a hero and heroines are yet to be selected.
Nandi Productions' film shooting in progress
The shooting of a film directed by A Mallikarjuna Rao and produced by M Sivakumar on the banner of Nandi Productions with Real Star Dr Srihar, Raja, Gajala and Nikhita in the lead is progressing well. The film unit invited the media to disclose the details of their shooting progress. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Srihari says, 'I am playing the role of a farmer in this movie and some scenes related to village backdrop were shot in Rajahmundry. Presently an action sequence is being choreographed in Hyderabad under the direction of fight masters Ram-Lakshman. The shooting is going on for the past five days and the fight would come before the interval bang. Myself, Raja and the entire unit is working hard to make the film a big hit. There are five songs in the movie and of them two would be shot on me. The producer is not compromising at any time and the director is also working excellently and is putting 100 per cent effort to make the film a success.' Raja, Ram-Lakshman, producer and director also participated in the press briefing.
Nandi awards bestowed on Nov 8
Andhra Pradesh Government's prestigious 'Nandi Awards' presentation will take place this year on 8th of November. The venue is the NTR Stadium in Hyderabad for the function. The Nandi Awards will be presented to films, which are selected for the years 2005-2006, in various categories. Also the recipients of NTR National Award for years 2003-2006 and the recipients of Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for the years 2005-2006 will be felicitated with the respective awards. Mahesh Babu is selected as the Best Actor 2005 for 'Athadu', and hero Akkineni Nagarjuna was selected as the Best Actor 2006 for 'Sri Ramadasu' and will be receiving Nandi Awards on this stage. On this occasion, the recipients of 'NTR National Award', Krishna for 2003, Ilayaraja for 2004 and Kannada actor Ambareesh for 2005, actress Wahida Rehman for 2006 will be presented with the award. So, also the recipients of prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, MS Reddy for 2005 and Dr. D Ramanaidu for 2006 will be felicitated with the awards on the same stage.

The news is Andhra Pradesh's prestigious Nandi Awards for 2008 which was planned on an earlier date is now being presented on November 16. NTR stadium in Hyderabad is the venue for this function. On an honorary note, the award is being presented to the films selected in the previous years between the years 2005-06. People short-listed for the NTR National award and Raghupathi Venkaiah award will also be bestowed on this date. Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna are among the recipients for the Best Actor award. Among the prominent awardees of Nandi Awards are Krishna, Illayaraja, Ambareesh, Wahida Rehman, MS Reddy and Dr. D. Ramanaidu who all will be awarded on the same dais.
Nandu on Kannullo Ne Rupame Movie
There are many talented heroes in Tollywood but not all of them got huge break as leading men. One such guy is hero Nandu who is struggling to find foot as a solo hero from some time.
