The surprise hit of this year 'Nanda Loves Nanditha' held a success party on Wednesday evening at Green House restaurant on completion of 50 days successfully in 13 centers of Karnataka. The film is now at the 62nd day of screening and brought a profit of Rs.75 lakhs to the producer Ramesh Kashyap. The film running for 50 theatres in one of the biggest theatres of Karnataka Kapali is equivalent to the film running 100 days felt producer Kashyap. He is happy with the Akshay Audio reaching nook and corner of Karnataka. 'I am relieved of the responsibility on my shoulders with the success' said the eminent story writer Ajaikumar addressing the media. My popularity has increased from one of the top songs of this film Jinke Marina'..disclosed the choreographer Imran Sardaria. From Shwethashri I became Nanditha from this film but I am recognized as 'Jinkemari' (Deer) by the fans from my first film was the happy disclosure of actress of the film. I should thank everyone immensely and my family for the support informed hero Yogish. Distributor of 'Nanda Loves Nanditha' T.P.Siddaraju the producer of last years super hit film 'Dhuniya' father of the hero Yogish is of the opinion that the placement his son got in the industry is memorable aspect of his life.
'Nanda Deepa' ready
Famous cameraman of Kannada cinema and producer of two films 'Shastry and Snehana Preethina' materializing his dream of two decades by finishing the third film production of his career. The film 'Nanda Deepa' based on a song 'Kannirina Kathe of famous folk singer Gururaja Hoskote has been completed in 25 days in Shamshi village in Hubli. The film 'Nanda Deepa' is ready for release on 1st of August 2008. While 35 years ago written song 'Kannirina Kathe' is Anaji Nagaraj's most favorite song for the same song director Shivu Hiremath had made the script 10 years ago. Both joining together in Namana Films the film is ready now. Dynamic star Devaraj, popular actress Shruthi, Master Manoj, Sanjana play the lead roles in this film. The film focuses on the need of education and danger of step mother. The author of the song Kannirina Kathe Gururaja Hoskote speaking on this occasion disclosed that he had written this song in 1973. Although the film is based on Gururaj Hoskote song the theme song for the film is written by Dr.Nagendra Prasad. The content of the Hoskote song is used for the subject of the film. There are four songs in the film 'Nanda Deepa' in which two songs are written by Hoskote and Nagendra Prasad. Gururaja Hoskote the hot favorite in folk music and singing has scored the music for the film. The audio of 'Nanda Deepa' was released by two senior journalists Udaya Marakkini and A.S.Murthy at Green House restaurant on Monday evening. Nanda Kishore Spoilt For Choice
After the success of Ranna director Nanda Kishore has a hattrick of hits. Not surprisingly therefore there are many offers for his next film. He is now planning for the next movie. This week he will be finalising the options and decide for whom he will be directing his next movie. Already he has committed to direct films for Dhruva Sarja, Radhika Kumaraswamy and Pradeepa. Speaking to Chitraloka he said bounded scripts are ready with him. "This time I am giving the complete budget list to the producer. Later on they should not blame me. Let me wait and we will know whose project will start first," he said.
'Nandadeepa' ready
Well known cameraman and producer Anaji Nagaraj moves from action based films to tear jerker film 'Nandadeepa'. A film with the similar title was made in the 60's by Vadiraj for Jawahar movies in which Dr.Rajakumar, Leelavathi and Harini played lead roles that also bagged the national award Now the film 'Nandadeepa' made in 2008 is based on the popular story in the Uttar Karnataka region 'Kannirina Kathe' written by famous folk singer Gururaja Hoskote. The film shooting has been completed in Santhi and other villages in Hubli for twenty days. Dynamic hero Devaraj and tear jerker heroine Shruthi play the lead roles. Sanjana, Master Manoj, Muni, Gururaja Hoskote, Karibasavaiah, Vishaya Jevoor are in the cast. Malavalli Saikrishna and Raghu Niduvalli have penned the dialogues. M.R.Seenu is the cameraman. Shivu Hiremath who worked under Relangi Narasimha Rao, Om Prakash Rao, S.Narayan as assistant is independently directing this film. Gururaj Hoskote has provided the lyrics and scored the music. Lakshman Reddy is the editor while Tribhuvan and Nagesh are the choreographers for this off beat film.
'Nandadeepa' before censor
Namana Films an off beat film produced by commercial films cameraman and producer Anaji Nagaraj has completed re-recording, mixing at Ashwini Recording studio in the music direction of Gururaj Hoskote who is a famous folk singer of Karnataka. Producer Anaji Nagaraj has made this film in a shoe string budget. The film 'Nandadeepa' (a similar title film was made in the yesteryears starring Dr.Rajakumar and Harini) is starring Devaraj, Shruthi, Sanjana, Master Manoj, Muni, Gururaj Hoskote, Karibasavaiah and others. Malavalli Saikrishna and Raghu Niduvalli have penned the dialogues. M.R.Seenu is the cameraman, Nagendra Prasad has written two songs for this film. Shivu D Hiremath who worked in the camps of Relangi Narasimha Rao, S.Narayan and Om Prakash Rao as assistant director is turning independent director from this film.
Yogish is hero in 'Nanda Love Nandhita'
With just a paltry role in 'Dhuniya' that clicked and got attention to Yogish has given him the ladder to become the hero in 'Nanda Love Nandhita'. He is playing a ruffian lost in the gang of youngsters without education. The film also shows how important is the duty of parents in giving education to children says story writer Ajaykumar a specialist in tear jerker stories in Kannada. This is the 5th directorial venture of Vijayakumar who had given a hit film 'Kannadadha Kandha' last year. The shooting starts from 24th of this month in and around Bangalore. The muhurut for this film was held at Kanteerava studio on Gowri festival day. Known as 'Loose Madha' of 'Dhuniya' the blockbuster film produced by his father T.P.Siddaraju the sleek looking Yogish admitted that he has to gear up in acting because there is enough scope for acting in this film. He has learnt action portions. Come next May 2008 his father T.P.Siddaraju is producing a film for Yogish. Emil who worked in the camp of A.R.Rehman and Jaasie Gift is scoring music for the first time in Kannada. Mathew Rajan is making use of the natural light for cinematography in this film to give a wonderful visual feel to the audience.
