Nayeem Killing Vangaveeti!

Ram Gopal Varma is habituated to making films at his free will. Though audiences wish to see a pure RGV trademark flick something like ‘Sathya’ or ‘Shiva’ from the past, our wish may not fulfill forever because RGV clearly lost his touch. He is currently on multi tasking with audience and also with parallel projects, announced and unannounced. Few months back, Varma announced officially to make a project on the powerful clan of Vangaveeti and announced a movie with same title. Completing few weeks of shoot confidentially, he soon rushed to Mumbai on unknown work. Now, he changed the tune and started promoting ‘Nayeem.’ All of the sudden, ‘Nayeem’ is hitting the headlines as Varma is continuing with vague approach towards his films. If ‘Vangaveeti’ is halted for a while we might be flooded with more news on ‘Nayeem.’ Of course, both of them are uninteresting subjects for common cinema loving audience. As of now, Varma is trying to focus more on ‘Nayeem’ killing the excitement created on ‘Vangaveeti.’

No Surprises From RGV on Nayeem!

Cold blooded gangster Nayeem’s encounter was welcomed by Telangana people. As media investigation teams dug deeper into the intricacies of Nayeem case, many shocking facts came out which of course excited film industry writers and directors to pen a script. However, no one would have got those guts and maverick skills to deal such stories except one man Ram Gopal Varma. In the past, RGV made nerve breaking biopics on many underworld gangsters and also a sandalwood smuggler like Veerappan. This time, the declaration was expected from RGV about making a film on Nayeem but it went a bit late. Finally, RGV announced on making Nayeemuddin’s story as a full-fledged movie in three parts. ‘Nayeemuddin's transformation from a naxalite to a police informant to an underworld gangster to become an all time Criminal No.1 is scary. Nayeemuddin's story is so complex and with so much of content that it's impossible to justify it by telling it in only one feature film. Am going to make a 3 part film on the Nayeem story… Raktha Charitra had only two parts… Nayeem will have 3 parts,’ said RGV.

RGV to make movie on Nayeem

Gangster Nayeem has become a topic of discussion across all circles in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Media which is ready to milk the most out of any sensational happening, has used Nayeem’s encounter to its advantage. Now after media over sensationalising a crooked criminal like Nayeem, now sensational director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has jumped into the Nayeem bandwagon. RGV has a fetish for dark subjects and mafia and criminal elements. RGV announced through his twitter that he will be making a three part movie series on Nayeem. “Just gathered entire information on Nayeemuddin from multiple sources. His crimes over the years are full of truly hair rising details. Nayeemuddin’s transformation from a naxalite to a police informant to a underworld gangster to become an all time Criminal no.1 is scary. Nayeemuddin’s story is so complex and with so much of content that it’s impossible to justify it by telling it in only one feature film. Am going to make a 3 part film on the Nayeem story ..Rakthacharitra had only two parts..Nayeem will have 3 parts,” tweeted RGV just hours ago today. Though RGV’s tweets might create interest among some, many are also expressing ire that, these type of statements, movies (if at all it is really made) will only further create hype for criminals and influence younger generation badly. Also RGV comparing his proposed film on Nayeem with Rakta Charitra is also paining many, as there is no comparison between people like Paritala Ravindra, Maddelacheruvu Suri and Nayeemudduin. While Paritala Ravi and Suri came from a socio-political background and were forced to take to violence, due to various compulsions, Nayeem is just a cold blooded selfish criminal.
