More news →Nizam Film Chamber condemns Producers council decision
The old Nizam unit of the State Film Chamber of Commerce, Hyderabad, had unanimously resolved that there should be dubbing films. Talking to film journalists, the president and secretary of the chamber, M Vijayender Reddy and Muralimohan respectively and others made it very clear that there should be dubbing films. They condemned the decision of the Film Producers Council in no uncertain terms. They found fault with the decision saying that it is unbecoming on the part of the producers council to declare that they would not cooperate with the producers who go for dubbing films.
Katamarayudu Nizam rights sold for 18 crs?
Pawan Kalyan is looking to entertain his fans and common audience in a big way before he moves on serious politics with his JanaSena. How many more movies will he do? Will he stop making movies? Or will he continue like his brother who is making a comeback after 9 years? These are all questions for future but right now he is dedicated to complete all the commitments he made.He is busy shooting for Katamarayudu after a brief gap for the Diwali festival. He is trying to finish the movie with quality as soon as possible do that there won’t be any delay or criticism that his movie received. He want this official remake of Veeram, to work big time and in this week only from November 5th his movie with Trivikram is starting as well. He also held a pooja ceremony with RT Neason as director for AM Ratnam production, Vedalam Remake.These are the announced movies and the release of these movies is expected by the end of next year most probably. The release date of Katamarayudu is fixed for Ugadi festival, 29th March 2017 and RT Neason film will release after June July and Trivikram film like their previous film could be coming out for Dussehra or Diwali.The business of Katamarayudu has almost come to an end it seems. The official figures will only be announced by the producers after completing the entire shoot it seems. But from the inside sources we got to know that all important Nizam area rights were bought by Asian films distributors for 18 crores. His previous hit movies like Atharintiki Daredi have collected more than 20 crores from the region, so this looks like a huge but calculated bet on considering the Veeram movie was already a hit in Tamil. Well the real figure could be on even higher side!
Charan Nizam 10 Cr. Share Club Record
Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Dhruva' has crossed Rs.10 crores share in Nizam territory today. This is the 6th film of Ram Charan to have breached the landmark of Rs.10 crores share. Earlier, his films such as Magadheera, Racha, Naayak, Yevadu and Govindhudu Andarivadele crossed Rs.10 crores share each. Among other big stars Stylish Star Allu Arjun has five Rs.10+ crore share films as a solo hero in his kitty and they include Julayi, Iddarammayilatho, Race Gurram, S/o Satyamurthy and Sarrainodu. If 'Rudhramadevi', wherein Allu Arjun played special role of Gona Gannareddy, is considered, Allu Arjun has six back to back 10 crores projects in his career. Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Atharintiki Daredi, Gopala Gopala and Sardaar Gabbar Singh (5 films) crossed Rs.10 crores each while Prince Mahesh's Pokiri, Dookudu, Businessman, SVSC and Srimanthudu (5 films) minted more than Rs.10 crores each. Young Tiger NTR has 4 films in Rs.10 crores share club and they include Badshah, Temper, Naannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage. Young Rebel Star Prabhas Mirchi and Baahubali collected more than Rs.10 crores each in Nizam area.
Khaidi Nizam Multiplexes: All Time Record
With every passing moment Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150' is setting a new record with its humongous release. It was earlier reported that 317 shows were planned in multiplexes in Hyderabad. Fresh buzz making rounds is that the movie's first day shows number has been confirmed as 408 in Nizam area and this is termed as an all time record for this territory is concerned. On the other hand, the film will be screened in all 14 theaters of Rajahmundry while the number is 17 in Vizag with all screens of the city were allotted for movie's screening. The movie will be screened in Udaipur in two screens and it's going to be the first ever Telugu film to have achieved this feat. 'Khaidi Number 150' is all set to gear up for release on January 11. Ace director VV Vinayak has wielded megaphone for this Mega Power Star Ram Charan's production venture. Ratnavelu has done DoP. Devi Sri Prasad is the music scorer.
'Bommarillu' unit to tour Nizam area
g'Bommarillu' which was running with houseful collections for the past four weeks had entered the fifth week. Producer Dil Raju says, 'I heart-fully thank the audiences making our film such a big hit. Our entire unit wanted to share our joy with the people for giving us such a success. Our film was released with just 72 prints and within four weeks the demand has gone up to 152 prints. Despite this, the film is running with houseful crowds. There are chances of enhancing the number of prints further. Not only in India, even in abroad is the film creating ripples. So we are planning a tour in the Nizam areas from September 10 to 12. Our entire unit would tour Mahbubnagar, Shadnagar, Hyderabad city on September 10, Siddipet, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Warangal and other areas on September 11 and Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet and Kodad on September 12.' The producer further says, 'We are also planning to tour some other areas in Andhra and Ceded areas in September itself. Similarly, the unit would also tour overseas in October and November as a thanks-giving gesture. We were able to convey what we had in mind. In this backdrop, we are holding a contest in a popular private Telugu channel called 'Mee Ille Bommarillu'. Some select father-son duo would participate in the programme. I wish the audience would make our ensuing visits and this contest also a success like our film.'
'Don' released only in Nizam, Nag's fans disappointed
Nagarjuna's film Don has been in the making for a very long time. One reason given was that it was working out to be too costly. It's not uncommon for a film to go over budget. But it seems, M L Kumar Choudhary, who is the producer, really landed himself in trouble by splurging a bit too much. Then, there was speculation about the release date. Now, the latest chink in the armour of Don is that the film has just been released in Nizam. Whatever the reasons, many of his fans from the Ceded and Andhra areas are highly disappointed that they could not watch their favourite star's film on the first day. According to industry grapevine, the film is likely to be released by tomorrow in the rest of the state.
