Nikki Galrani is all set to train for martial arts and Kalaripayattu for her next Tamil film directed by Ezhil. Apparently, the pretty damsel will be seen playing a cop in the action drama and she will have to perform some dare devil action stunts. "Yes, I play a cop in the film, which has a very unusual script. I would be training for martial arts and Kalaripayattu as I have to perform stunts in the film," says Nikki, adding, "Although I have done minor stunts in some of my Malayalam films this will be a full-fledged action sequences." The film, which is Vishnu Vishal in the lead, is expected to go on floors next month.
Nikki Galrani As A Customs Officer In Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum!
The shooting of Boban Samuel's upcoming film Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum starring Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya in the lead roles, is fast progressing. Now, to the surprise of many, there is another star who has joined the film. Yes, we are talking about Nikki Galrani who would be seen doing a cameo in this film. Take a look at some of the pictures of Nikki Galrani.. The actress would be seen essaying the role of a customs officer in this film. According to reports, the actress would seen only in few scenes in the film. But, the character played by the actress is said to be having due importance in the film. Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum has Amala Paul doing the main female lead. Nikki Galrani was last seen in Malayalam films in Rajamma@Yahoo which also had Kunchacko Boban in the lead role. The actress did have a great start in Mollywood with back-to-back successes like 1983, Vellimoonga etc which earned her the tag of lucky actress of Mollywood. But, the films that followed didn't make a big mark at the box-office. But, at the same time, she has been active in Tamil and Telugu film industries. Nikki Galrani would also be seen in an important role in the film Team 5 which has cricketer Sreesanth in the lead role.

Thanks to the super-duper success of her latest film Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, actress Nikki Galrani is on ‘Cloud 9’ nowadays and in critics’ opinion has already started her upward march to becoming the ‘next big thing’ in Kollywood. Released on 02nd June, the film enters its fifth week in theatres this Friday (01st July) and at a time when films are finding it difficult to run to packed houses in their third week itself, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran is still going great guns. Produced at a modest budget of Rs.10 crores, it has already collected more than Rs.50 crores. Nikki, younger sibling of Tollywood’s Sanjjanaa Galrani, debuted in Tamil films as heroine in G.V. Prakash Kumar’s Darling early last year. Though her next film Yagavarayinum Naa Kakka wasn’t a box-office success, she charmed the audiences in general and youths in particular with her stylish voice (she dubbed for herself in the film) and bike-riding skills. Though Ko 2 didn’t do that well in theatres, her performance in the film was lauded by critics. Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran’s super-success and has established herself as a top actress in Kollywood. She now has Motta Siva Ketta Siva opposite Raghava Lawrence, Kadavul Irukkan Kumaru opposite G.V Prakash Kumar besides an untitled films opposite Vikram Prabhu and Jiiva. The Jiiva-Nikki Galrani starrer (tentatively titled as Kee) would be directed by debutant director Khaleesh, who had till now been working as Selvaraghavan’s assistant director. Billed as a romantic comedy, it also has RJ Balaji in a pivotal role. The film’s shoot is likely to commence in August.

Actor Jiiva has not had a good outing at the box office recently with his ‘Yaan’ and ‘Thirunaal’ becoming flops. However, he has some exciting films on hand like ‘Kavalai Vendaam’ and ‘Sangili Bungili Kadhava Therae’ nearing completion. Jiiva has signed a new film ‘Kee’ directed by Kalees and produced by Michael Rayappan’s Global Infotainment. The film has Nikki Galrani and Anaika Soti has heroines while veteran Telugu hero Rajendhra Prasad, Suhasini, Manobala, R.J. Balaji, Meera Krishnan and Padma Surya are in the cast. Cinematography is by Anees Tharun Kumar, music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and editing by Nagooran. The film began today (18.8.2016) with a pooja and expected to be completed in a single schedule.
GV Prakash romances Nikki, Avika Gor
Rajesh of ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ fame is all set with his script to make a film with music composer turned actor GV Prakash, this film has been as ‘Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru’ while the famous actor Prakash Raj who acclaims for his antagonist performance has been roped in this project to play negative shade alongside with the hero GV Prakash. In the first two movies of GV Prakash had two heroines that is in Darling Nikki Galrani and Shruthi Dange and in Trisha Illana Nayanthara had Anandhi and Manisha Yadhav in the female lead role. The latest source hinted us that in GV’s upcoming film Kadavul Irukaan Kumaaru seems having two heroines in the film. The film has Nikki Galrani and Avika Gor of ‘Cinema Choopistha Mava’ fame apparently playing female lead role. This venture will be bankrolled by Amma Creation’s Siva.
Vikram Prabhu and Nikki Galrani in New Film
Actor Vikram Prabhu is presently acting in 'Veera Sivaji' directed by Ganesh Vinayak of 'Thagararu' fame. His 'Wagah' directed by GNR Kumaravelan is ready for release. He also has a film to be directed by S.R.Prabhakaran under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner. Now we learn that the third generation actor of the prestigious Sivaji Ganaesan family will will be acting in a film directed by Ashok a former associate of director Lakshman of 'Romeo Juliet' fame. This film will have Nikki Galrani as the female lead and the cute lass is pairing up with the 'Arima Nambi' actor for the first time. It is rumored that Vikram Prabhu will be producing this film by launching his own production banner. We will have to wait for official word on this.
