More news →Neram Starts for Nivin Pauly doing Tamil Movie
As we had reported earlier Nivin Pauly will be reentering Kollywood with the Tamil remake of Kannada flick 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe'. This is the Tamil film of the 'Premam' star after a gap of three years since the release of 'Neram'. The film will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran a former associate of Mysskin. Shraddha of Kannada flick 'U Turn' fame has been roped in as the female lead in this film. Pandi Kumar is the cinematographer and Atul is the Editor of this flick. Ajneesh has been retained from the original for the musical score. Now we learn that the new addition to the cast is actor Natty aka Natraj who will be playing an important role in the film. The shooting of the film has begun today in Tuticorin. Nivin and Natty are taking part in the first schedule.
Quality matters for Nirav Shah
Cinematographer Nirav Shah is the latest to make waves in Tamil cinema. The young cinematographer who cranked the camera for Dhoom II is the talk of the town now. Currently wielding the megaphone for Arya's Auto and Vijay starrer Pokiri, Nirav Shah, says,' Though I get good offers in Bollywood, I want to concentrate in Tamil for now.' Nirav's work in Sandai Kozhi and Pattiyal won him accolades. On his forthcoming films, he says,' I am assigned to do a movie for director Sanjay Gadhvi, the director of Dhoom II.I will be handling cinematography for Vishnuvardhan's remake of Billa. Featuring Ajith, the movie would hit the floors in March next year. I am more concerned about the quality. I want to do one movie at a time'.
Nizam Film Chamber condemns Producers council decision
The old Nizam unit of the State Film Chamber of Commerce, Hyderabad, had unanimously resolved that there should be dubbing films. Talking to film journalists, the president and secretary of the chamber, M Vijayender Reddy and Muralimohan respectively and others made it very clear that there should be dubbing films. They condemned the decision of the Film Producers Council in no uncertain terms. They found fault with the decision saying that it is unbecoming on the part of the producers council to declare that they would not cooperate with the producers who go for dubbing films.

Sonu Nigam Sang On A Busy Street For Hours And No One Noticed!

For Sonu, the most memorable part of the exercise was when a boy walked up to him and asked him if he had had lunch and gave him Rs 12. He has actually framed those Rs 12 and hopes to meet that boy again someday.
Shane Nigam To Play Manju Warrier's Son
Shane Nigam, the Kismath fame actor who is also the son of popular mimicry artist cum actor Aby, is all set to share the screen with Manju Warrier in the upcoming movie C/o Sairabanu. The movie which features Manju Warrier in the title role Sairabanu, will have Shane Nigam in the role of her son. It the sixth movie outing of Shane, who made his movie debut with Thanthonni. The young actor who started his career as a child artist, has essayed supporting roles in several popular films, including Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Annayum Rasoolum, and Kammatipaadam. Manju's character in the movie is a Kochi-based traditional Muslim woman. C/o Sairabanu also marks the comeback of senior actress Amala Akkineni. Reportedly, Amala plays the character Annie John Tharavadi, an advocate. As per the sources, C/o Sairabanu is based on the photojournalist Victor George missing case. The movie is directed by debutante Antony Sony, the former associate of the popular director Roshan Andrews. C/o Sairabanu is scripted by RJ Shaan and will be jointly produced by Eros International and Macto Films. The rest of the star cast, technical crew, and further details are expected to be announced soon.
