No Kamal for "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

South film director Vayalar Madhav had earlier planned to have Kamal Hassan to play the role of eunuch in his movie "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". But had to back out because of Kamal's over-exposed star image. The role was of Kakathiya, the head of eunuchs, who is more than 200 years old and has been doing research on how to transform eunuchs into normal human beings. Madhav has finally decided to take Tinnu Anand for the role due to his less starry image and great performance. The film is in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Other actors in the movie are Divya Dutta, Neha Pendse and Suhasini Mulay. It has been reported that there were over 300 eunuchs from Mumbai, Rajasthan, Chennai and Hyderabad visiting the sets of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and also performed pujas and other rituals in the movie.

No Romantic Numbers in Golmaal

'We don't have any romantic numbers,' said 'Golmaal-Fun Unlimited' director Rohit Shetty at the music release function of his second film after 'Zameen' at a star studded event at Fame Multiplex in Malad. 'It was a great help from music directors Vishal and Shekhar, who kept in mind the youth while making the music. The album has a lot of foot tapping and peppy numbers along with a track with the late 50's touch. All together it is quite balanced music, for everyone,' he added. Kajol who is basking in the glory of a terrific 'Fanaa' was the chief guest at the occasion. The music was first released at the Radiocity Radio Station (91 FM), followed by launch at Fame Multiplex, where the film promos were screened. 'No Entry' director hasn't seen LRM

Believe it or not but Anees Bazmee, director of last year's biggest hit 'No Entry', is yet to watch 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', the biggest superhit and second highest grosser [so far] after 'Krrish' of 2006. Currently busy in wrapping up the schedule of 'Welcome', a Firoz Nadiadwala film, he is so tied up in his work for last one year that he has barely managed to catch on any flicks coming to theatres. This is not all as he wants to catch up with LRM but is struggling to find out time for that. On quizzed if he felt 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' is the biggest hit this year after his 'No Entry' last year, he said, "Yes, I have heard from one and all that the film is awesome but haven't been able to see it. I know it's not right since it is so much being talked about and as a film maker I should be watching good flicks like LRM, but blame it on my hectic schedules. The day I get a breather, I am certainly going to catch up on the film."
