Sunny Leone to be a part of Sonakshi Sinha's 'Noor'
Imitating real life, Sunny Leone is playing a Bollywood actress in an upcoming slice-of-life film which features Sonakshi Sinha in the role of a 20-something journalist. Mirror (June 1) had earlier informed that Sonakshi Sinha would be playing a journalist, Noor Roy Chaudhury, in her next film. The comedy-crime thriller, titled Noor, is based on Pakistani scribewriter Saba Imtiaz's 2014 novel, Karachi You're Killing Me! and follows the 20-something reporter's misadventures. Noor, produced by Vikram Malhotra and Bhushan Kumar, is being directed by ad filmmaker Sunhil Sippy. Joining Sonakshi is funnyman Kanan Gill as Saad Sehgal, Noor's best friend and most vocal critic. Shibani Dandekar plays Zara Patel, Noor's friend and confidante. Purab Kohli is Ayan Banerjee, seasoned photo-journalist who's travelled the world and is a charming cynic. Now Mirror has learnt of a new addition to the cast: Sunny Leone who plays a leading Bollywood actress in an extended cameo. A source close to the development informs, "Sunny will shoot with Sonakshi over three-four days, she began on Thursday." Vikram confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, Sunny is a part of our movie and appears in key scenes. It's a role which only Sunny could play. You'll realise when you watch the movie.
