Suriya shot into fame among the masses after the release of Ghajini in Telugu. Especially his histrionics, quick movements, instant changes in expression made the audiences stay glued to their seats all through the film. Soon he became a star overnight and several of his Tamil films including 'Aaru' dubbed in Telugu. In order to maintain the same tempo and mood on Suriya, his latest Tamil film 'Sillunu Oru Kaadhal' is also being released simultaneously in Telugu as 'Nuvvu Nenu Prema'. Moreover, the film has in its cast, Jyothika and Bhoomika in the female lead, who are quite familiar faces for Telugu audiences. As the title suggests, the film would be a romantic special with both the heroines. The film was directed by debutant Krishna, an associate of Gautam Menon. The film Nuvvu-Nenu-Prema, with Suriya, Jyothika and Bhoomika, will be a triangle love story, while Suriya's character was moulded in a youthful, energetic and attractive packaging. Moreover, Suriya sported a different and a more youthful look in 'Nuvvu-Nenu-Prema'. Popular music maestro A.R. Rahman composed music for the Telugu version as well which added a sheen to the love subject. The Tamil version was produced by Suriya's cousin K.E. Gnanavelraja on the banner of Studio Green, while the Telugu version is coming up in association with Gemini Film Circuit. Though Jyothika's last straight film is 'Tagore' pairing opposite Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Bhoomika's Missamma is still fresh in the minds of Telugu audiences. With the Tamil version of the film 'Sillunu Oru Kaadhal', Bhoomika made a comeback to the Tamil film industry with a meaty role. It is like a home production for Suriya and hence he is very particular in every aspect of the filmmaking. The production values are the very best. The movie has been shot in several beautiful locales including a couple of songs in Canada. Debutant director Krishna is confident that he would meet the expectations of masses. Fortunate to direct the likes of talented stars like Suriya, Jyothika and Bhoomika in his debut venture, Krishna says, 'It would be a never-seen before experience for the audience. Rahman's excellent musical score has given me more courage.'
'Nuvvu Nenu Prema' slated for release on Feb 23
Versatile artiste Surya, who had won the hearts of the Telugu audiences with his performance in 'Gajini', is playing the hero, while Jyothika and Bhoomika are in the female lead for 'Nuvvu Nenu Prema' directed by Krishna, presented by Surya and produced by KE Gnanavel on the banner of Studio Green is all set for release on February 23. AR Rahman provided music for this film and the audio was proved a big hit. The Tamil version of the film was already released and proved a huge success. The producers are planning to release the film on February 23 by completing all the necessary formalities. Surya-Jyothika, who got married in real life, played together in this film, and it remained the last film for Jyothika before her marriage with Surya.
Audio CD of 'Nuvvu?
The audio CD of 'Nuvvu'?¦ Nenu'?¦ Prema...' directed by Krishna and presented by Suriya and jointly produced by Gemini Film Circults and Studio Green, with Suriya, Jyothika and Bhoomika in the lead was released into the market recently through Aditya Music. Suriya unveiled the audio and handed over the first copy to Gemini Kiran. Speaking on the occasion, Suriya says, 'Several films came on the celluloid with love as their theme. When compared with them, this film will be different. This film was made with several real life incidents and has many interesting twists. You can imagine that the story had inspired an ace music director Rahman and made him to accept to work for the film and he really worked hard to give a lively music. Moreover, he himself rendered a song, which reminds us of the value of the subject in the film. We tried our best to give a real definition to love and the story revolves round three characters. After the sensational hit of 'Gajini' I played hero in this film. Telugu audiences made 'Gajini' a big hit and I expect they would welcome this film as well.' Producer K.E. Gnanavel says, 'The roles of Jyothika and Bhoomika would be an additional attraction and added highlight. Director Krishna molded the story in a nine way. The film was shot in the backdrop of New York, Delhi, Mumbai, Coimbatore and their surrounding areas. The film is quite different from others and we are sure that it will be a big hit.'
Manoj's toned look for 'Nuvvu Naku Teliyadu'
Manoj has shed loads of weight and has got a toned look for his latest film 'Nuvvu Naku Teliyadu'. He has been working out for quite some time and has avoided photo shoots for some months now to keep the new look a secret. The film will be directed by Ajay Sastri who had worked under Krishna Vamsi. A new girl will be introduced and the search is on for the girl in Mumbai. The film will be a different, cute, love story and rumours are that Mohan Babu could be producing it under the Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Films' banner. Manoj has been working on his look and dancing skills for this film.
'Nuvve' to hit the screen on November 3
Directed by Gopichand and produced by Lakshmi Reddy Idamakanti with Shafi, who gave impeccable performance in 'Khadgam', debutant heroine Samragni, Ravivarma in the lead ' Nuvve ' is all set for release on November 3. The film had completed all the post-production formalities. It is a different love story that revolves round a girl and three boys. Music for the film is by Asheervad.
Aksha’s ‘Adi Nuvve’ releasing today!
Chaitanya, Aksha starrer forthcoming film ‘Adi Nuvve’ is releasing today. Recently the audio hits the music stands and has been receiving good response from the audience. Adi Nuvve is directed by Varaprasad Neelam and is produced by K.Srikanth. The movie is all about the story of a youngster who’s madly in love with a girl and how he wins her is the crux of the story does. Aksha is seen in films like ‘Yuvatha’ and ‘Ride’ earlier while Chaitanya is debuting with ‘Sneha Geetham’. Jeevan Thomas has composed the music while PG Vinda handles the camera. The other supporting cast of the film includes Naresh, Kasi Viswanath, Pruthvi, Raja Sridhar, Satyam Rajesh, Amit, Master Bharat, Leena, Hema, Raksha Sakuntala, Charu Sarma, and Sivanarayana.
