More news →'Police .. Police' enters into 4th Schedule
'Okariki Okaru' fame hero Sriram and Mollywood sensation Prudhvi Raj combine Telugu has entered into fourth leg of shooting. Director Manmohan said that there are several films highlighting cops but this one is a unique. According to the producer important sequences and some action scenes will be filmed in this schedule, featuring Sriram, Prudhvi, Kamilini and Brahmaji. From the first week of August the 4th schedule will be started at Hyderabad. Other cast includes Dandapani, Brahmaji, Vikram, CVL, Amith. Rasool's film completes 60 per cent shoot
The yet to be named film being produced by Ramana Pemmaraju on the banner of Manoranjan films and directed by cinematographer-turned-director Rasool of 'Okariki Okaru'-fame with Rohit Khurana as hero and Miss India-World Gadde Sindhura as heroine was launched in the US recently. This is the first-ever movie for Sindhura. Ravi, grandson of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, the late Anna Durai, is playing a key role in the movie. Giving details of the progress of the film, director Rasool says, 'The film runs in America as its backdrop.However, the issues that were debated in the film are universal and touch each and everyone's heart. The entire film revolves around the heroine. Though this is the debut film for Sindhura, she performed well. Especially she was able to express all the feelings and her facial expressions were excellent. The hero's role would also attract everyone. We have so far completed 60 per cent of the shooting and two more songs and some scenes are yet to be shot.'
Sriram looks forward to 'AMAV'
'Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule' (AMAV) is certainly a movie that you can look forward to. Starring Venkatesh and Trisha in the leads, it is directed by Selvaraghavan. The sensitive director from Tamil is known for his searing explorations of the darker side of human psyche. He has also managed to marry commerce and art in his movie. So you can look forward to his kind of movies. And looking forward to it is indeed Sriram, the Tamil actor. He is Srikanth in Tamil. In Telugu, he is named Sriram. After the success of 'Okariki Okaru', Sriram went into hibernation as far as Tollywood is concerned. But he is now coming back into Telugu with high hopes. Even though this is only a supporting actor role, he has taken to the film with a lot of enthusiasm. He says it is a pleasure to work with Venky and Selvaraghavan. 'They are complete professionals,' he says. After 'AMAV' he may have another Telugu film to do. But as of now his focus is only on that. The film may release in May.
