Producer cum director YVS Choudary says, 'It is NTR who upheld the real Hindu Dharma and made people known how a God will be through the portrayal of various characters. He passed away 11 years ago on January 18. He is the one who took the prestige of the Telugus and our region at national level. It is a shame on the part of the Central government as it failed to announce the highest civilian award like Bharata Ratna to such a great personality. It is time that everyone in the region should agitate and ensure the award to NTR. I appeal to all the fans and Telugu film lovers to ensure the award to him. We are starting our next schedule on this memorable day of NTR's death anniversary amidst the people of Rayalaseema region and wish he would shower all his blessings on the entire unit. At the same time we are paying rich tributes and pray that his soul rest in peace.' Executive producer of the film Kommineni Venkateswara Rao also attended the function.
