'Okkadunnadu' is the title confirmed for a film directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti and produced by Chiranjeev @ Cherry on the banner of Clap Entertainment with Gopichand and Neha Jhulka in the lead. Producer Cherry says, 'The film will have Mumbai in its backdrop and has heavy commercial points. Mahesh Manjrekar is playing a key role in this film. The story is like a tailor-made subject for Gopichand's body language and we have already completed 75 per cent shooting. We are planning to release the film in February and Keeravani is providing melodious tunes for this flick.'
'Okkadunnadu' shoots action scenes
Gopichand, who earned the name and fame as a mass and action hero with 'Ranam' and 'Yagnam' is playing the hero, with debutant Neha Jhulka as heroine, for 'Okkadunnadu' under the direction of Chandrasekhar Yeleti of 'Aithe' and 'Anukokunda Oka Roju'-fame. The film is being produced by Cherry @ Chiranjeevi, the executive producer of 'Chatrapati' and 'Vikramarkudu' on the banner of Clap Entertainments. The film will run with Mumbai and mafia in its backdrop. Noted Bollywood director Mahesh Manjrekar is playing a key role in this flick. MM Keeravani is providing tunes for this film. Presently, some action scenes are being choreographed. The producer is making efforts to complete the shooting and all the post-production formalities soon and release the film on February 9. However, the audio of the film would hit the stands on January 15.

The film has Mumbai as its backdrop. The audio of the film was released through Vel Records recently and there was a very good response from the audiences about the tunes. The director moulded each scene in the film in a heart-touching manner. A new definition and name was given to a specific blood group through this film. The producer is making efforts to release the film in the first week of March.
