Popular stand up comedian and writer- Director Omar Sharif has a new record to his name. He has become the first Pakistani filmmaker to direct a bollywood film. We have had Pakistani musicians and singers contributing to Indian Cinema. The Jal group and Rahaat Fateh Ali Khan are more recent names. Omar is different as he is going to be directing a film. He is quite excited about directing Indian actors and actresses and wishes to shoot some part of the film in India. Omar has written the film and it is titled Tum Mere Ho. It is a love story with a touch of comedy and drama. He will also be acting in the film. He will be the only Pakistani actor on the crew. The cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Aarti Chabria and Ashmit Patel. Omar is positive about the chances of his film releasing in Pakistan. Mughal E Azam and Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal will soon release in Pakistan. Omar will shoot in Hyderabad and America.
Mullah Omar confirms peace talks with US
Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar has confirmed opening peace talks with the US authorities, Geo News reported on Thursday. Mullah Omar made two demands - release of Afghan prisoners from Guantanamo Bay detention facility and complete pull out of US-led forces from Afghanistan. However, the US state department said that no decision had yet been made on releasing the Taliban detainees from Guantanamo Bay prison.
