Acclaimed Malayalam director Lohithadas tried his luck in Tamil with Kasthooriman. Unfortunately the movie starring Prasanna and Meera Jasmine did not do well at the box office. Undeterred Lohithadas is gearing up to direct another film in Tamil. The director says, 'I have completed my Malayalam movie Neivedhyam. All efforts are on to commence my next in Tamil. It would star two prominent heroes together. Karthik Raja would score music for the movie'.

Acclaimed Bollywood producer-director Ram Gopal Verma joins hands with Ilayaraja after a decade for his next Hindi venture Siva. Incidentally, Ilayaraja and Ram Gopal Verma first came together for a movie titled the same featuring Nagarjuna and Amala, which was later dubbed in Tamil as Udhayam. The latest venture by Verma would feature his favorite heroine Amoha in the lead role and would be shot very soon. He has personally requested the maestro to compose music for the movie and the latter has responded positively. Meanwhile, Ilayaraja is also composing music for a movie starring Amitabh Bachchan which has cinematography by P C Sreeram.
Once Again With vijay Sethupathi
Orange Mittai directed by Biju Viswanath starring Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak hit the screens, last Friday, the 31st July. The film talking about the eccentricities of old age dealt also with dad-son relationship. The film has garnered good critical acclaim. Orange Mittai is the maiden production venture of Vijay Sethupathi where the actor doubled up as a dialogue writer, lyricist and also as a singer. Reliable sources aver that the director will be working with Sethupathi once again for his next project which will be a totally different genre. Script work is reportedly going on now and official details will surface once the writing is completed. We would update you!
Once Again Simbu Projects Him As An Ajith Fan
We all know that STR is a big fan of Thala Ajith and the actor has even said it in several films. In his recent release Idhu Namma Aalu, there is a dialogue where STR says that he loves his dad most and after that his favorite person is Thala Ajith. But STR has also tried to compensate Thalapathy fans with the film’s comedian Soori as his caller tune is Jithu Jilladi, the intro song of Vijay in Theri. Soori also says Theri baby on seeing Nayanthara’s photo in the film and thus, they have attracted both Ajith and Vijay fans. Idhu Namma Aalu has been opened with positive to mixed reviews.
Kajal Aggarwal Opposite Vijay Once Again?
Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal are a famous onscreen pair, who became the favorite of the masses with both Thuppakki and Jilla. Last afternoon, rumour mills floated in from Tollywood media houses that Kajal would be pairing up with Vijay for the third time once again in his next film with Atlee. However, sources close to the team have dished away the news a rumour. According to the source, “Atlee is still working on the final draft of the script, only after which he would start scouting for the main members of the cast and crew. Things would fall into place by the end of October.”
Sajid Khan - Once more after SAJID SUPERSTARS
Following the huge success of his show SAJID SUPERSTARS on television, Sajid Khan is all set to host yet another show that promises to be on a lavish scale never witnessed before on the small screen. A source revealed, "It is a film based show. But it's a funny take on Bollywood." Sajid's successfully camaraderie with stars like Shahid, Ritesh, Karan, Farah, Arbaz Malaika, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir, Vidya and Vivek Oberoi has already been witnessed. Now there is more to follow with Deepika, Akshay, Katrina, Diya, Arjun etc. in shows to come. So successful has been Sajid's stint with television that he has been inspired to take on the other show too. "Sajid is a favorite amongst the stars. They enjoy his company and his sense of humour. Sajid hopes to create uproar of laughter with his new show on Bollywood", confirms the source.
