Oops! Apple iPhone 5s not 'a gimmick'
When one of your biggest customers makes its new 64-bit mobile processor a huge focus as it unveils its next-generation flagship smartphone, calling that new processor nothing more than a “marketing gimmick” probably isn’t the best idea. Qualcomm finally realized that on Wednesday and it issued a retraction following comments made last week by its chief marketing officer Anand Chandrasekher. “The comments made by Anand Chandrasekher, Qualcomm CMO, about 64-bit computing were inaccurate,” a Qualcomm spokesperson said in a statement delivered to BGR via email. “The mobile hardware and software ecosystem is already moving in the direction of 64-bit; and, the evolution to 64-bit brings desktop class capabilities and user experiences to mobile, as well as enabling mobile processors and software to run new classes of computing devices.” “There’s zero benefit a consumer gets from that,” the executive added.
OOPS: Rahul sleeps in Lok Sabha yet again!
What came as a huge embarrassment to Congress Party on Wednesday is its Vice President Rahul Gandhi going asleep in Lok Sabha during the discussion over the Gujarat Dalit assault. Of course, This isn't the first time Congress Prince was caught in such a fashion. Recently, Four Dalit Youth have been assaulted in Gujarat. Congress tried to corner BJP in Lok Sabha using the same issue. But, The visuals of Rahul dozing when Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was offering an explanation on the issue irked the party leaders. Rahul Gandhi was spotted taking a nap by resting his forehead in the palm. This continued even when party's leader of Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and other Congress MPs were raising slogans. Congress fire brand leader Renuka Chowdhury's explanation to Rahul's nap is Lok Sabha is equally funny. She tried to cover the damage by saying party's vice president was just resting his eyes.
