September 7, Wednesday was an extremely special day for megastar Mammootty and the young crowd puller Nivin Pauly. Both the actors experienced the most memorable moments of their lives, on the day. Mammootty, who celebrated his 65th birthday on September 7, received a special gift from his son, Dulquer Salmaan. The young actor surprised his dear father, by presenting an S-Class Benz car as a birthday gift. The megastar, who is a die-hard vehicle enthusiast, was extremely overwhelmed to receive such a precious gift from his son. The pictures clicked while Mammootty received the car key has already taken social media by storm. Nivin Pauly, on the other hand, received the golden chance to meet his icon, the 'God of cricket' Sachin Tendulkar. He met the star played during the unveiling ceremony Kerala Blasters team, of ISL football match. The young actor, who was extremely overwhelmed to meet the star player, stated his excitement through his official Facebook page. Interestingly, Nivin has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Kerala Blasters.
Mohanlal turns taxi driver
After playing some superhero roles in Ranjith movies, Mohanlal will play a ordinary down to earth character in the new movie 'Loham. This new offering from Ranjith will have Lal as Raju, a taxi driver.The movie will tell a story that develops when an young lady named Jayanthi alights into the taxi driven by Raju.The movie follows the dramatic happenings, that occur in between. Andreah Jeramiah plays the lead lady in the movie which will also feature Palery macnikcyam fame Mydhili in an important role. Kunjui S kumar is the cinematographer while Manoj Kannoth does the editing.Max Lab entertainments distributes this movie which is on sets now.
Jayasuriya kicks on a row
keralites, at least the politicians here who always take every thing with a bit of doubt has already branded the act of actor Jayasuriya, who with a group of friends, filled the big potholes in some of the roads in Kochi with stones. He, in fact has arranged for the tarring metal in his expense and filled the big holes at late night. The politicians here are but not ready to take it as an act of social protest or humanitarian deed. The state minister Ibrahimkunju and Kochi Mayor Toni Chammini has already branded Jayasuriya's action as a publicity stunt. The Mayor founds it unscientific to fill the potholes in such a manner . Anyhow the social media and TV channels have started debates on who is right in this issue. The youth in the state are already parading after Jayasuriya and his views. Jayasuriya says he just went for the act depressed with the death of two of his friends who got into an accident in these pathetic roads recently. He is also enquiring where they need to complaint in such situations. They have actually resorted to silent measures, late at night and not even went for slogans or rallies stopping the traffic or creating difficulties for the public. The film fraternity has slowly started to support Jayasuriya. The director B Unnikrishnan has already called it a symbolic protest and that the mayor and the bunch of politicians has just depicted themselves to be unimaginative and insensitive to the problems of ordinary man.
Film Fare Award: Best Actor In Malayalam – Fahad And Actress-Rima
The 60th South Indian Film Fare awards are announced in Chennai. Fahad Fasil has elected as the best actor in Malayalam for his wonderful acting in ’22 Female Kottayam’. Rima Kallingal has got the best actress award for her fabulous performance in the same film. The best director is Lal Jose and the best film is ‘Ayyalum Njanum Thammil’ directed by Lal Jose. Biju Menon has got the best supporting actor award (Ordinary). Dulkar Salman has got the best new face award for his performance in the film ‘Second Show’.
Three Climax for Prithvi Film
Director Sugeeth who had made a big hit in last year's 'Ordinary', is trying for a different experiment in his new film with Prithviraj. Titled 'Oru Cinema Kadha' the movie will have three climaxes inside a single film.The movie planned as an experimental flick, will also feature Vineeth Sreenivasan in an important role. Oru Cinemakadha' will tell a plot about a filmmaker, scriptwriter and a cameraman destroying the love life of an young man.Since each of the makers comes up with a different plot to accomplish their mission, Sugeeth will be in an easy mode to visualize each of their ideas. The shoot for the film will start in a couple of month's time.
Kavya And Biju Menon In Onnum Midathae
Kavya Madhavan and Biju Menon are joining together for the movie ‘Onnum Midathae’. Sugeeth is the director of the films. His previous films are Ordinary and 3 Dots. The script of the film by Rajesh Raghavan. Shaffer Sett is producing this film in the banner of Gurban Films. This is the first film of Sugeeth with Kavya Madhavan.. Biju Menon had already done important characters in his previous films.
