A couple of years back came Karan Razdan's 'Girlfriend' that dealt with the story of two women in love with each other. Around the same time director Shrey Srivastava too started a film on a similar theme, 'Men Not Allowed', but unfortunately the film got stuck in the cans after being almost ready for release last year. Now the film starring Payal Rohatgi and Monica Castelino in the lead roles is finally being readied for a May release. MNA also stars Aryan Vaid, Nassar Abdullah and Tarun Arora while Sanjeev Srivastava scores the music. Though there is not much in the film that can be talked about, a song 'Ye Jo Saundhe Saundhe' stands out due to its beautiful melody. Sung by Shashwati Phukan who has sung numerous remix songs in the past, the superbly rendered 'ghazal' could have even excited Asha Bhonsle to go for it as it belongs to a style that she excels in.

Wrong timing for Payal Rohatgi?
Are back to back releases turning out to be a bad timing for upcoming actress Payal Rohatgi? Just when coming Friday sees the release of her first biggie '36 China Town', the news of her long delayed sleaze flick 'Men Not Allowed' comes at the most opportune time. While '36 China Town', a murder mystery that features her in an important role, followed by Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Corporate' that has her playing a film actress, promise to put her in a good position in Bollywood circles, her earlier signed film like 'Men Not Allowed' dealing with same sex relationship threatens to hit the screens soon. Apart from '36 China Town' and 'Corporate', she also has films like Subhash Ghai's 'Apna Sapna Money Money' and Milind Soman's 'Phir Zindagi' lined up. The actress has been consciously trying to shed her 'sleaze only' image by signing films with reputed banners but seems like she would be haunted for some more time to come as films like 'Men Not Allowed' and 'Ek Se Mera Kya Hoga' gear up for release!
