'Abbayitho Ammayi' will be my perfect bday gift: Palak
Debutante Palak Lalwani will ring in her birthday this Friday with the release of her Telugu romantic-drama "Abbayitho Ammayi". She hopes it will bring her good luck and go down in her memory as the best birthday gift. "I'm positive that the film will bring me good luck, because a lot of effort has gone into it. It's releasing on my birthday and it also happens to be the New Year. These two reasons make the release of the film even more special," Palak told. Paired with Naga Shourya, she plays a college girl in the Ramesh Varma directorial. "It's a character with shades. I really can't divulge much information but it's an interesting character. It's a youthful entertainer that will appeal to kids as well as family audiences," she said. On the sets, Palak says, each day was like an adventure. But there was one incident where she floored everybody. "We were shooting this climax scene in an airport. I was under a lot of pressure and people didn't expect me to do well. I finished the whole scene in one take, much to the surprise of the entire crew," she said. "Shourya usually rests after his scene because he knows I'd take time with mine. When he was told I completed the climax scene in one take, he couldn't believe it too," she added.
