More news →Pallavi Subhash in Telugu remake of 'Vicky Donor'
Actress Pallavi Subhash, most popular for her work in Hindi television serials such as "Mahabharata" and "Chakravartin Ashok Samrat", has started shooting for the yet-untitled Telugu remake of "Vicky Donor". With Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in the lead, Shoojit Sircar made a film on the subject of sperm donation in a light manner in 2012 through "Vicky Donor". It was appreciated by critics and was also commercially successful. "Pallavi is reprising Yami Gautam's role in the remake, and she has already started working on the film. She's really excited about her role," a source from the film's unit told. Being directed by debutant Mallik Ram, the film features Sumanth in the lead role and he's also producing it. The film's remake was first announced in 2013 by filmmaker Madhura Sreedhar, but since things did not fall in place, it did not get made.
'Ankith Pallavi & Friends' cleared with censor
The maiden venture of director Hari Eleti which is produced by Kishore Ganji and Raghu on the Inno Vision Cinema banner, received a clean censorship certification of 'U', without any cut. The running time of the movie is two hours and fifteen minutes. The release of the movie is scheduled across the world, including USA, on 5th September with 35 prints. Nikhil who has become famous with the movie 'Happy Days' is the Hero and Megha Burman (Bru Coffee Ad appearance) as a debut is paired with him for the movie. Music is composed by Vinu Thomas is well received. A graduate from Pune Film Institute is taking over her first assignment as cinematographer. Editing is taken care of Marthand K Venkatesh for the movie.
Sai Pallavi on Kammula's Next
Shekar Kammula's next with Mega Family hero Varun Tej might possibly have Sai Pallavi playing the female lead. The same has been confirmed by trustworthy sources. Sai Pallavi, the Premam sensation, is a favourite of many, including top directors like Mani Ratnam. The movie, other details of which are yet to be confirmed by the makers, will be produced by Dil Raju. This film will be awaited by Kammula's fans for the reason that, after the 2012 film Life Is Beautiful, the director hasn't made his original idea into a story. Anamika, the 2014 flop, was a remake of Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani. Varun Tej is now a happening actor. He is already doing Sreenu Vaitla's film, titled as Mister. After working with an ace director like Puri Jagannadh, offers are coming Varun's way from commercial makers like Vaitla and artisitc ones like Kammula. The pairing with Pallavi will be an added advantage to him. Dil Raju must be looking at making a clean family entertainer.

The 'Kali' actress, who recently graduated, is now in a chillax mode, and is currently enjoying her break. Sai Pallavi, who stole many hearts with her portrayal of Malar in 'Premam', is the heroine in this movie. A love story between an NRI from USA and a girl from Telangana will form the core of this movie. " Sekhar Kammula is a wonderful narrator and Varun has already established a name for himself. I am happy to announce a project with them", said producer Dil Raju. Mega Prince Varun Tej has established a unique identity for himself within a short span of time, with his story selection and acting abilities. Sekhar Kammula is known for making clean entertainers that attract young adults as well as family crowds. The two of them will now be working with noted producer Dil Raju very soon.
Sai Pallavi not to be Asif Ali's heroine
There was a buzz that actress Sai Pallavi will essay the lead role in 'Inspector Dawood Ibrahim' opposite Asif Ali. Howvever, the 'Premam' actress herself has clarified that she is of part of the movie and that the makers would laughing over the matter. Sai Pallavi also added that the after effects of being part is 'Premam' is yet to sink in and that she is still taking it all in. Sai's was an overnight change into a celebrity. She prefers to take it slow to give space to her medicine career and passion in dance.
Sai Pallavi takes a month's break for Dulquer
Sai Pallavi who is 'the' Malar of Malayalees was approached for Samir Thahir's upcoming movie a month ago. She had expressed her doubt considering her MBBS studies in Georgia clashing with the shoot. She was asked to ask the dean, which she did. The dean asked a letter from Samir and team to be sent, which they did and promptly granted her a month's leave in November. And viola! Sai Pallavi is very much part of this movie, which will star Dulquer as the lead hero. Samir on the lookout for an actress aged between 16 and 24 who can drive. More details regarding Sai's role in the movie has not been revealed.
