'Pandi', produced by Hitesh Jabak under the banner of Nemichand Jabak is a family entertainer. Hitesh is a distributor, who has distributed the mega hit movie 'Gajini'. He has earlier produced Jeevan starrer 'Naan Avan Illai'. Now he is producing Narain starrer 'Anjathey', directed by Mysskin. 'Pandi' has Raghava Lawrance and Sneha in the lead roles. Namitha appears in an important role. Nasser, Saranya, and Ganja Karuppu provide variety to the fare. Madhuravan, who had directed Prashanth starrer 'Poomagal Oorvalam', is directing the movie while Srikanth Deva scores the music. Camera is handled by U.K. Senthilkumar The movie tries to stress the importance of the bondage of family relationships. The producer says that the movie would have all the ingredients of an entertainer. Hitesh is confident of the outcome of the movie. 'It will be a clean and perfect family entertainer', says Hitesh.
Pandi team in Malaysia
'Pandi', starring Larencce, Sneha and Namitha, directed by Mathuravan, who directed 'Poo Magal Oorvalam', is growing fast. The unit is now in Malaysia for a song and a few other sequences. Now a song sequence featuring Larencce and Sneha is being shot in Malaysia. After finishing the song, the team is planning to shoot a fighting scene and some other scenes in the country. Sneha is pairing up with Ragava Larencce for the first time in the movie while Namitha appearing in an important role. Nasser, Saranya, Ganja Karuppu and others act in vital roles. 'Pandi' in post production stage
Starring Ragava Larencce, Sneha, Nazar, Namitha, and Saranya the film 'Pandi' is gearing up for release. The film is being directed Maduravan. Our sources in Kollywood suggest that the talkie portion of this film is over and at the moment the post-production work is going on in full swing. This film is being produced by Hitesh Jhabak who also produced hit films like 'Naan Avan Illai' and 'Anjathey'. 'Pandi' is believed to be an out-and-out commercial flick with the right doses of action, comedy, romance, glamour and sentiment. By the feel, this flick seems like a mass entertainer sure to reach all walks of audience. The music for this film has been composed by Srikatha Deva. The audio for this film might be released by the first week of May. There are seven songs that cover the entire length of the film and the highpoint of the music is the remix song of the eighties 'Maasi Masam Aalana Ponnu..' that featured superstar and the glamorous Gowthami. Insiders believe that the producer paid a royalty to Echo audios, who hold the rights for this song from 'Dharmadurai' before they went for a remix. Reports also suggest that a very colorful set was erected in the AVM studios for shooting this song sequence. The producer Hitesh Jhabak also recently announced his next project titled 'Pokisham'. The film will see Cheran donning the cap of the director as well as the hero of the film and Padmapriya will play the heroine. The film will be brand Cheran, and the camera will be handled by Rajesh Yadav and the music will be by Sabesh Murali.

'Pandi' tickling the sentiment bone
'Pandi' starring Ragava Larencce, Sneha and Namitha talks about the plight of people who need to leave their families in order to pursue careers in the Gulf. The producer of the film Hitesh Jhabak received a letter from a member of the audience stating that he decided to give up his Gulf job to stay with his family. Surely a sentimental bone tickled there. Hitesh Jhabak's next venture would be with Cheran and the film has been christened 'Pokisham'. Cheran plays the protagonist and is also directing it. As of now, the first phase of music recording is going on. Music is by Sabesh Murali. 'Pokisham' would be Hitesh Jhabak's fourth venture after 'Naan Avan Illai', 'Anjathey' and 'Pandi'.
'Aindham Padai' comes Nov 28
Sundar C starrer 'Aindham Padai' is confirmed for a release on 28th November. Directed by his former associate Badri, the movie which is packed with action has shaped up well. The highlight of the movie is an emotional warfare between two leading ladies in a family at Thirunelveli - played by Simran and Devyani. Sundar C pitches in to bring the conflict to an end. This is the crux of Aindham Padai, says the director Badri. Badri continues, 'Sundar C might have started off his film career by shouting 'action' but he has begun delivering 'action' of late. The man, who stood behind the lenses for various blockbusters, now faces the camera with more guts and determination'. Almost the entire shoot has been completed. Few of the songs that were shot in Bangkok have come really good. Nasser's performance is worth a mention, he adds.
