Young actor Shiva, after getting success with the recent hit ‘Thamizh Padam’, is overflowing with many offers. On stating his interest to become a director and to make a movie just like his ‘Thamizh Padam’, actor Shiva says “Though my focus is on acting at present, I firmly believe acting in films will be my ladder to become a director. I am hopeful that my dream would become a reality one day,” he says with all hope. Speaking about his debutant directorial film he says “I have a script titled ‘Jaangiri Kanavugal’. It is a spoof of Tamil cinema. Everyone loved it. But I am yet to gain confidence to make it a film.” On speaking about his upcoming projects, he says “I am doing ‘16’, a breezy love story. Following that will be a movie by Gayathri-Pushkar, which will be totally different. I am also there in ‘Poochandi’, a filmy by Venkat Prabhu.”
Mozhi - Truly a Pesum Padam
Mozhi has not just set the cash registers ringing, but has also been receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Film critics call it a refreshing change in Tamil cinema, artistes call it a revelation to the fact that Tamil films are superior in quality, kids love it for the light-hearted humour, elders flock to it for the poignant emotion sans melodrama. That's Mozhi-packed and packaged in an impressive way to suit the tastes and temperaments of Tamil speaking audiences across the globe. If you thought we are talking just about film-buffs here in India, you are mistaken. Mozhi has taken audiences everywhere by surprise. A good example of this would be US of A, wherein audiences have been swarming into theatres to catch a glimpse of this film. And they come back to watch it, yet again, with families. A Duet Movies and Pyramid Saimira venture, Mozhi has captivated those that retain their emotions and sensitivity in an otherwise materialistic world. While we commend Prakash Raj for this attempt, we cannot but applaud Pyramid Saimira on their efforts to take this film to wider sections of the audiences. We welcome Pyramid Saimira to Tamil filmdom and wish that they continue to give us quality films that we can pride ourselves about. Those who saw Mozhi at theatres across the United States of America express satisfaction at having been able to see a heart-rending film devoid of commercial compromises. Theatres at San Jose and New Jersey have been witnessing packed houses and in places like Chicago and Minneapolis, the number of shows have been increased, seeing the increasing numbers of audiences. Theatres at Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle and so on, are all set to screen this film soon. It is to be remembered that the prevailing weather conditions at the US of A leave a lot to be desired. It has been pouring cats and dogs in some places and in other places, there is irrepressible snowfall. These, however, are not deterrents and do not stop people from seeing their favourite film Mozhi. With the encouraging initial reports, one expects to see this film turn into a bigger hit. Indiaglitz is happy to be part of this proud moment as we are the official online media partners for this film that has evoked enormous response.
Goa-Thamizh Padam Releasing Tomorrow
Bookings open from today for these rib ticklers. If you ask what is similar between ‘Goa’ and ‘Thamil Padam’, it’s the humour quotient.... excuse us, not quotient; both are touted to be out and out comedy feasts. While ‘Goa’ is coming from the 'Chennai-28' buddies, ‘Thamil Padam’ is from a fresh combo but then is not lacking in anything to ‘Goa’. And the good news is that we are lucky to enjoy both of them this weekend. Bloodsheds, family sagas and any serious topic, let's give them a break, people. It’s time for some real fun now! Trailers of 'Goa' and 'Thamil Padam' have become the talk of the town for telling a story in their own funny way. If 'Thamil Padam' is showing the different highlights of the film like Shiva’s "Pacha Manja Thamizhan" song, hilarious romantic number "Omagazeya", the Nayagan dialogue by M.S Baskar; ‘Goa’ is hitting it the right way with the colourfull (in every way) - Goa beach, angelic heroines and timing comedies that made us to ask, “Eppo da Goa Varum? Finally the films meant for our funny bones are here, give them way!
A funny fight is going on between the directors of Thamizh Padam and Goa
A funny fight is going on between the directors of ‘Thamizh Padam’ and ‘Goa’ in the form of newspaper advertisements. It was initially started when the makers of ‘Thamizh Padam’ had claimed an advertisement as ‘A C S Amudhan Working Day’, spoofing the tagline of ‘Goa’- ‘A Venkat Prabhu Holiday’. So, to encounter this statement, ‘Goa’ unit also in return had released an advertisement on its 50th day celebration. It was stated in Tamil as ‘Idhanal than… Idharkaga than…ena engalukkum makkalukkum purindhu vetrigaramaga odikkondirukkum 50vadhu naal’. And now, it’s the turn to come out with one more counter from ‘Thamizh Padam’ team. Let’s see how long this funny fight continues!

On speaking about their love life Anusha says “He became my friend through one of my pals. One fine morning, I got 100 SMSes from him, all with just one line- ‘I Love You’. I was thoroughly surprised and responded positively.” “He is no inferior to anyone in giving surprises,” the Chennai girl says and adds: “One day, he suddenly invited to his house where I was showered with affection by his parents. Two days before our engagement, he gifted me a cute puppy which I am preserving as a treasure.” On the other hand Dhayanidhi says, “Anusha is so chirpy and this made me fall in love with her. Unlike other lovers, we hardly met each other. I am happy that elders in both families happily accepted our relationship.” Related posts
