"Mika - Tune Pappi Kyon Li" - that's the question Meet Brothers have been openly asking Mika with their latest song offering that has the namesake lyrics. As a follow up to the Mika-Rakhi Sawant kissing controversy that rocked the nation last year, Meet Brothers and Mika, who are friends in real life, have cut a new album which has this song as its major attraction. The music video of the song is out and also aims at some laughter with a female model giving a tell tale account of the kissing, a la Madame Sawant's outburst in front of media when the actual incident had happened. Guess how would Rakhi Sawant be reacting to this since last heard she was planning to make a music video herself in retaliation to this!
'Aye Paapi' gets rocking for Shahid
The Prince Charming of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor's dance track 'Aye Paapi' (Tu hai meri soniye) in Kismat Konnection is rocking the charts and has become the anthem of the youth. If 'Pappu can't dance' was the chart buster last week, 'Aye Paapi' is the flavor of the youth this week. The young superstar is the only actor who has delivered back to back solo hits like VIVAAH and the cult classic JAB WE MET, is all set for a hat trick of solo hits, if the reports of Kismat Konnection in the trade are any indication. Apart from the rocking dance steps choreographed by Ahmed Khan, designer Shabinaa Khan has designed the outfits for Shahid Kapoor for the chart busting track. Says Shabinaa Khan, "The brief given required Shahid Kapoor to be dressed as a young, hip youth icon, but different and not in your face clothes. I was very clear that the outfit would not be the typically 'Filmy-night disco outfit' but very casual. Keeping that in mind, we designed his look for the song that would incorporate a shirt with a waist coat, and T-shirts and black canvas shoes. And it suited Shahid's personality to the T." No doubt with his silken moves on the dance floor, Shahid rocks big time!!
Watch the trailer of web series 'Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa'
Faaiz Anwar and Prem Prakash Gupta launched the music of their upcoming film, Love Ke Funday, at a suburban five-star. Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films, is coming up with a show titled 'Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa', which seeks to delve into hitherto taboo subjects like condoms and homosexuality. It's an attempt to bring the topic out of the closet, says producer-director Ashish Patil. 'Pappu & Papa', to be launched in July, is a five-part fiction series premiering on the Y-Films YouTube channel and tells a story that will deliver information across different themes related to sex and sexuality -- from masturbation and menstrual periods to condoms, pregnancy and homosexuality. The show attempts to be clean and honest in style, with a lot of humour and heart, read a statement from Y-Films. 'Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa' tells the story of the Watsa family. It will feature a curious seven-year-old boy Pappu, who asks the most outrageous questions of his Papa, Anand, who attempts to answer them to the best of his ability -- initially with a lot of awkwardness and eventually with a lot of fun, simple anecdotes. Talking about it, Patil said: "The second-most populated country in the world, in spite of being the home of texts and temples such as the Kamasutra and Khajuraho... Sex is still a very taboo topic in India. Most parents clam up when having to talk to kids about the 'birds and the bees'. "Sex education is not even provided in most schools. And when done... it is not appropriately curated or delivered. Misinformation or lack of information cause further confusion and problems. Which is why you have 40-year-old men writing in to sex columns asking if they will go blind if they masturbate. "Research clearly shows that sex talk with parents is directly linked to safer sexual behaviour. This is our attempt to bring this important conversation out of the closet. So come on, let's talk about sex." Starring Anand Tiwari, Kabir Sajid, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Alka Amin and veteran Sachin Pilgaonkar, the series marks the directorial debut of Patil, who heads Y-Films. It is written by Gopal Datt and Devang Kakkad with story supervision by Amritpal Bindra and Anand Tiwari. The series has been researched and ratified by medical experts, according to the makers.
