Sheela is the heroine of this movie which is going to be released this summer. April 8 is the audio release date of this film and Allu's birthday also is on the same day. And if the film becomes a megahit, then it will be the sweet icing on the cake for Allu Arjun.
'Parugu' in theatres from tomorrow!
The film 'Parugu' sees Allu Arjun and Sheela playing the romantic lead. The film is directed Bhaskar and produced by Dil Raju. Recently the hero of the film inaugurated a website named www.paruguthemovie.com. The team came up with this site exclusively for updating the audiences about the latest developments taking place concerning this film. The movie lovers can log on to the site and share their view regarding the film with the team. There was also a press meet that was held yesterday, April 29, 2008 where the producer of the film confirmed that the film will hit theatres tomorrow May 1, 2008. 'Parugu' was scanned by the censor board recently and it passed with a clean chit of U certificate from the censors. Allu Arjun, speaking during the press meet said that he had wanted to do an entertainer from the time he saw 'Bommarillu', and that wish has been fulfilled with this film. He has also stated that his character in this film is sure to standout and the film would entertain all the section of audience. 'Parugu' is being brought out by Sri Venkateshwara Cine Creations banner and the director is the film is hopeful that this film will be as successful as 'Bommarillu'. The main cast of the film includes Allu Arjun, Sheela, Prakash Raj, Sunil, 'Chitram' Sinu, Dhanraj, Srinivas Reddy and Poonam Bhajwa among others. Allu Arjun's film with Dil Raju and 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar is nearly complete. But the unit is still trying to finalise a title for their film. First, 'Romeo' was considered to be ideal, then 'Premikudu' was being considered for a while. Now comes the news that 'Parugu' is another title under consideration. In short, the film is about a guy who is on the run from the villains to win over his love. So, it is being considered apt. On the other hand, the film is being wrapped up for release on May 9.
Bhaskar's take on 'Parugu'
Bhaskar who is tasting success with his debut film 'Bommarillu' being a super hit is a happy man. But like most of the successful people this director too has his own success funda. Bhaskar's style is to shape up real-life happenings into reel life so that the audience is able to relate to the characters they see on screen. This new director is gearing up with his second film 'Parugu' which sees Allu Arjun playing the lead role. The film is expected to hit theatres on May Day. Speaking to the press on directing this film, the director has divulged that he was very comfortable with the subject of this film. Care was taken that he did not rush through this venture. 'Bujjigadu' trailer with 'Parugu'
The trailer of 'Bujjigadu' directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by KS Rama Rao on the banner of Creative Commercials would be screened during the screening of 'Parugu'. The film has a first-ever combination of Prabhas and Puri Jagannath. Moreover, the distribution rights of the film were bagged by Dil Raju, producer of 'Parugu'. Hence to promote his forthcoming film, Dil Raju reportedly sent the trailer of 'Bujjigadu' along with 'Parugu' film. This was revealed during the premiere of 'Parugu'.
Allu Arjun will go to Jordan for 'Parugu'
Now that's what we surely call going one step ahead. Did we ever hear any film crew, Telugu or Hindi going to Jordan for a shoot? But Dil Raju has decided to splurge on his film 'Parugu'. And by splurge we mean throwing in a lot of exotic foreign locales for songs and getting some mind-blowing actions scenes. Recently, this middle eastern Kingdom was in news as it's Rose Red city Petra vied with our very own Taj to find a place among the seven wonders of the world. The lovely Muslim country bordering the Red city is among the most popular destinations in the Middle East. So, come March 15, Allu Arjun and Shiela will be there along with 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar, Dil Raju and their entire unit to shoot for songs there. With so much to go for it, must confess, we are just dying to watch 'Parugu'.
