Any heart that has ever beaten for someone special would have certainly fallen in love with the ballad 'Piya Basanti Re'. Now Ustad Sultan Khan, the man behind the haunting romantic chartbuster, would be coming back to create magic once again with an album titled "Ustad & The Divas". The songs have been composed by Sandesh Shandilya. Incidentally this is the debut album on the latest music label launched by Bhushan Kumar and releases all over on 27th November.
Piya - Rising in Kollywood
Actress Piya, who debuted in Kollywood through the film 'Poi Solla Porom' was actually brought to Tamil films by Raju Sundaram for 'Aegan' to pair opposite Navdeep in a prominent role, which could be even more meaty than that of Nayatara in the same film. This popular model in Mumbai has done many ads with Amitabh and Shahrukh and her gorgeous looks, charm have made her flooded with offers. Even before the release of her first film in Tamil, she rechristened her name from Piya to Priya. Actress Priya is next doing a film with Shakthi, directed by Badri. The title of the film is 'Enga veetu pillai', which is recycled from the yesteryear mega hit of M.G.R. However the new film will have nothing in common except for the same producers. Following adequate offers in Kollywood, the actress hailing from Uttar Pradesh has decided to stay permanently here in Kollywood capital, Chennai. She is expected to churn the box-office and would be added to the list of rising heroines to reign the industry.
