Prashant Chawla aka Mahesh the oldest son in Teen Bahuraniyaan is quite a motivator it seems. Given the erratic hours of shooting this young lad takes out time for important chores like from keeping in touch with his family back home in Delhi to his personal wellbeing. Prashant says, "These days everyone's complaining of lack of time but time has to be taken out. Whenever I'm driving to work, I do my daily pranayam. Once through with it, I call up my folks and other important people to ask about their wellbeing. Then rest of the day I shoot with ease as I complete my important work in the morning itself. This is how I manage to keep my personal as well as professional life balanced." Prashant care to dole out some Time management tips!!
Prashanth is happy with back-to-back releases
Prashanth is ending the year on a happy note. The actor had just a single release (Jambhavan) in 2006. However, the last week of the year has brought fortunes back for Prashanth. His long-pending movies Thagappansamy and Adaikalam are hitting the screens one after another. The actor is happy and thrilled with the releases. Talking about his films, Prashanth said, 'I thank God for helping us release both Adaikalam and Thagappansamy. They were lying in the cans for a long time'. A thrilled Prashanth says, 'Both the movies are different from each other. The former is a family drama while the latter is a mass entertainer. I hope my fans would continue to extend their support to me and make the movies a big success.' Prashanth says, 'I am keen to continue the good run. I would have more releases next year. All my forthcoming films are interesting and entertaining. I hope to leave my mark next year.' Here's wishing Prashanth all success.
Prashanths plans
Prashanth, after almost a year, had couple of films - Thagappansamy and Adaikalam releasing in theaters last year. However the movies managed a mediocre run at the box office. Prashanth has been hoping for reversal of fortunes with Pulan Visaranai II. A sequel to Pulan Visaranai, directed by R K Selvamani and produced by Ibrahim Rowuthar, the movie is still to near completion. With his Kutrapathirigai managed to hit theaters after overcoming all obstacles, Selvamani is geared up to complete Pulan Visaranai II in a hurry and release it the next couple of months. Grapevine is abuzz with rumors that Prashanth has been chosen to play the lead role in Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's 'Ponnar Shankar'. His father Thyagarajan might produce the same.
Prashanth back on the right lane
Prashanth, who started his career with Vaigasi Porandachu, was one of the prominent heroes a couple of years ago. Prashanth's career is seemingly back on the right track now. His long pending movie Pulan Visranai II, a sequel to yesteryear hit titled the same is fast shaping up for a early release. Also his long-pending Petrol, directed by A Venkatesh will go to floors again. Pulan Visaranai II is directed by R K Selvamani and is produced by Ibrahim Rowther. Meanwhile director A Venkatesh said, 'The shooting of Petrol came to a halt almost a year ago. With all issues sorted out, we are planning to commence shooting for the movie soon'.
Prashanth returns with a bang
Pulan Visaranai Part II is all set to make the audience spell bound. It is a sequel to R K Selvamani's blockbuster 'Pulan Viasaranai' which featured Vijayakanth in the lead role. Selvamani is now gearing up for the sequel of the sensational hit, but he could not get to cast Vijaykanth again, as the star was busy with his political commitments. Hence the director has opted for Prashanth, who is on his comeback trail. Karthika, Ashwini and Adeem Khan are introduced in this film, while a newcomer from Mumbai is being introduced to play the villain. The movie is about an honest assistant police commissioner who is on the prowl of dreaded gangsters. It is also a comeback for the producer A.S. Ibrahim Rowther, who produced the first part. The sources say that the film is all set to hit the screens soon. Prashanth announced this news in the press meet conducted by him on the eve of New Year. It is worth recalling that the actor has the habit of meeting the press with the announcement of his new project on each New Year day.
