Bollywood superstar Salman Khan-starrer family entertainer "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is all set to release on November 11, on the festival of Diwali, its makers announced on Monday. The mid-week release will help the movie tap good box office numbers, said a trade analyst. Unlike a usual Friday release date, makers have decided to release the film on Wednesday, on the special occasion of the festival of lights. "'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' will be releasing during the festival of lights -- Diwali. Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor star in this complete family entertainer that we hope will tug at the heartstrings of audiences with the Indianness of love, and values it has in its core," director Sooraj Barjatya said in a statement. In the movie, Salman is said to be playing a character that he hasn't in a long time. "He is the quintessential Prem once again that audiences have loved and treasured in their hearts. We are gearing up with release strategies that will unfold soon," added Barjatya. Produced by Rajshri Productions and distributed by Fox Star Studios, the family drama marks the "Dabangg" Khan's return to a Barjatya film after more than 15 years. The duo last worked together in the 1999 blockbuster "Hum Saath-Saath Hain". "Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan have created magic with their movies in the past, made box office records and with 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' -- a film that has its heart at the right place -- this is definitely the movie of the year releasing this Diwali," said Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios. Apart from Salman and Sonam, the film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal, Armaan Kohli and Anupam Kher in key roles. Mumbai-based trade analyst Taran Adarsh believes the movie will generate good business. "Yes, # PremRatanDhanPayo will have a mid-week release (Wednesday, 11 Nov). It will be a 5-day weekend. Expect HUMONGOUS biz," he tweeted. Salman, meanwhile, will next be seen in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Directed by Kabir Khan, the romantic drama is slated to release during Eid.
'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' to release in Pakistan
His "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" turned out to be a major success story in Pakistan for its heart warming tale of a Hindu man helping a Muslim girl to reach her parents across the border. Now at a time when art and cinema have been dragged into the politics between both nations, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's forthcoming family drama "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will also hit the screens in Pakistan on the same day as in India. The movie is scheduled to release a day after Diwali on November 12. A spokesperson of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" said: "'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' celebrates togetherness in a family. We are happy that the film will be releasing in Pakistan and our neighbours will be able to enjoy the film." Salman had earlier told that he wanted the movie to cross borders. Now, he has all the reasons to be happy. The actor feels cinema is a "powerful medium", with the capability to usher in a change. He said: "The medium is really powerful. We can do a lot with this medium... This is our tool and a lot of people appreciate good cinema and good characters. Everyone watches movies and it has a huge impact on people's life, and on society. I think there is no format better than cinema". “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” unfolds a new and royal chapter about love and family ties, painted on a 'larger than life' canvas with music and dance weaving a 'desi' fantastical story. The film also brings Salman together with Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years. The family drama also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Earlier, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", a Kabir Khan directorial, garnered appreciation at the Pakistan box office. The film, which narrates the story of a Hindu man on a mission to take a young Pakistani girl, who is dumb, back to her country and chronicles the adventures and experiences he has during his road trip, was released in India and Pakistan in July this year.

'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' to have one mega webisode
Post the success of the Salman Khan starrer 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', makers of the film are all set to make a webisode (an original episode derived from a television series) showing the making of the family entertainer. The greatest moments from the 21 webisodes showing the making of the film are being combined into one mega webisode titled 'Memoirs of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. When filmmaker Vidhi Kasliwal was entrusted with the making of the film by Rajshri Productions, she had a unique concept for it in mind. "From the time Sooraj ji decided to make his next film, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. We shot day and night and captured very interesting footage. The icing on the cake was that he was working with the one and only Salman Khan again!" Vidhi said. "My team canned over 250 hours of footage from which I was very keen to produce and direct the digital assets. So what started as a 10-webisode series increased to 21 webisodes, as the response to each asset was phenomenal!" she added. The mega webisode will see Salman, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher and other actors along with the entire unit of the movie discuss and share their thoughts on the title and the bond between the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor and Salman and director Sooraj Barjatya that began with 'Maine Pyar Kiya' 25 years ago. Incidentally, a feature-length documentary on the making of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', also by Vidhi, is expected to release this year.

Jindaan of Icy N Spicy is specimen of ideal BAD MAN from Bollywood He has the body of Gulshan Grover, is bald as Prem Chopra, his voice is similar to Amrish Puri and he does not posses eyes so that heroine in the end can not mutter 'main teri aankhe nikaal loongi'. Jindaan - The Bad Man of first time ever full length animation feature film ICY N SPICY was created keeping in mind the mainstream most feared and crooked villains of Hindi Cinema. "When we were trying to conceive the character of Jindaan, we had thought of all the villains of Bollywood and we realized that Gulshan Grover has the best body and Prem Chopra looked sinister with a bald head. So we combined both. Then there was electrical failure and people in the lane started fighting. One said that he will gouge other's eyes out and we thought that this was the favorite dialogue of the filmy heroine too. So, to make our villain more lethal, we decided not to give him eyes at all," laughs director Anil Goyal. R.T.M. Salman Khan back as Prem, sports 'desi' look
Superstar Salman Khan on Tuesday literally teased his fans with an initial poster of his forthcoming collaboration with Sooraj Barjatya, "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo". Back as a character named Prem, the actor sports a truly desi look in tune for the film's Diwali release. "Good afternoon. Welcoming Sooraj Barjatya's Prem again #PremRatanDhanPayo @Rajshri @foxstarhindi," Salman posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday afternoon. He shared this with a trailer poster of the film, which marks Salman's reunion with Barjatya after 16 years. "Iss Diwali Prem is back," reads the poster, while also revealing that the film's trailer will release on Thursday. "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo" is likely to portray Salman's "sincerity and innocence", and perhaps a notch higher than his last bumper success "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" did. The much-anticipated film will release on Nov 12, a day after the festival of Diwali. Presented by Fox Star Studios, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is produced By Rajshri Productions, with whom Salman has earlier worked in films like "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" and "Hum Saath-Saath Hain".
