Shashank, who proved a hero of difference with films like 'Aithe, Sye and Anukokunda Oka Roju', is pairing up with Vidisha, who made her debut in Telugu films with 'Maa Iddari Madhya' for a film 'Prem' being directed by debutant Hemanth. The film is being produced jointly by Rajkumar and Dange on the banner of Rajkumar Movies. The audio of the film would be released amidst several film personalities on October 20. Viswa is providing music for this film, which has five melodious numbers. The film has a different tagline ' @ prema.com. The producers are planning to release the film in November.
'Prem' of Shashank ready for release
Shashank, who earned a distinct image, with his films like 'Aithe', 'Sye', and 'Anukokunda Oka Roju' is presently doing a film 'Prem'. Vidisha of 'Maa Iddari Madhya'-fame is in the female lead, while Hemanth who worked as co-director with Sukumar for 'Arya' is being introduced as director through this film. 'Prem' is being produced jointly by Dang Batluri and Rajkumar on the banner of Rajkumar Movies. The film runs in the backdrop of Hyderabad, while the film is likely to have a tagline 'Prema.com'. Viswa, who had penned lyrics for several films, is providing music for this film, besides writing songs. The audio is likely to hit the stands during this week and the film is planned to be released during the end of this month.
'Prem' in post-production works
The shooting of 'Prem @ Prema.com' directed by debutant Hemanth Puvvada and jointly produced by Rajkumar and Padmakar Dange on the banner of Rajkumar Cinema with Shashank of 'Aithe, Sye and Anukokunda Oka Roju'-fame as hero was completed recently. Vidisha, who proved herself as heroine with her performance in 'Ala', 'Maa Iddari Madhya'' is pairing up with Shashank as heroine. This modern love story is now busy completing the post-production works. Lyricist Viswa turned a music director and gave melodious tunes to the songs and the audio which was released recently is getting good response. The film differentiates the true love and the artificial love in a most modern method.
'Prem' ready for release in January
Shashank of 'Aithe' and 'Anukokunda Oka Roju'-fame is playing the hero and Vidisha of 'Maa Iddari Madhyalo'-fame playing opposite him as heroine for 'Prem' directed by Hemanth Puvvada and produced by Rajkumar and Dange on the banner of Rajkumar Cinema. The film also has a tag line such as '@prema.com'. The film has tunes from noted lyricist-turned-director Vishwa and is getting a positive response. The film deals with the waning love, affection, perseverance in this modern life and explains their values. The producers are planning to complete the shooting and other post-production formalities very soon and release the film in the third week of January. Shashank showed the best of his performance in this film, while Vidisha's performance would also remain a major asset.
'Prem' bags clean 'U' certificate, for release on March 31

This time, a film has come with the title 'Prem' @ Prema.com, which details the changes in the love pattern right from 'Megha Sandesham' to SMS and e-mail culture. Young artistes Shashank and Vidisha are playing the lead roles in this film, produced by Rajkumar and Dange on the banner of Rajkumar Cinema under the direction of Hemanth Puvvada. Music for the film was scored by lyricist turned music director Viswa. The film had recently completed the censor formalities and came out with a clean 'U' certificate. The film is all set to hit the screen on March 31. The producers and director say, 'The film reflects the modern love trend.'
'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' zooms past Rs.100 crore in three days
Salman Khan's return as Prem on the silver screen with “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” has reaped crackling results at the box office. The Hindi version of the Sooraj Barjatya directorial has amassed over Rs.100 crore in just three days of its release. The film, which hit the screen on Thursday, a day after Diwali, reunites Salman with his "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" and "Hum Saath-Saath Hai" director Barjatya after a gap of 16 years. According to a statement, the Hindi version of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” alone has collected a total of Rs.101.47 crore. On Thursday, the opening day, the movie made Rs.40.35 crore, on Friday it minted Rs.31.05 crore, and on Saturday the collection was Rs.30.07 crore. Also starring Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Armaan Kohli and Neil Nitin Mukesh, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” brings a story of a royal family and how an outsider, Prem, played by Salman, tries to mend the broken bridges of the family. However, the film failed to appeal to the critics who termed it as a “royal pain” and also said that in the film “Prem and his family ensure that you are still trapped in the time machine of the 1980s”. According to trade guru Taran Adarsh, the film is set to gain mileage in the coming days. He tweeted: “#PremRatanDhanPayo crosses Rs.100 crore on Day 3 (Saturday). Business should again witness an upward trend today (Sunday). Big four-day total on the cards”. The movie, made on a budget of Rs.60 crore, also released in Tamil and Telugu.
