Bhoo Kailas was his first film as a solo hero. Earlier, Venu Madhav was seen in Hungama which was directed by S V Krishna Reddy, as a second hero along with Ali. Given the response Bhoo Kailas managed to get, Venu Madhav has been signed for another film titled Premabhishekam -- Veediki Cancer Ledu. The film will be launched on Dassera, October 21. It is a well-known fact that Venu Madhav started his career as a mimicry artist. After getting a break in films, he is now counted among top comedians.
Bollywood 'Babul' to come up as 'Premabhishekam'
Directed by Ravi Chopra and produced on the banner of BR Films, the Hindi film 'Babul' is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Premabhishekam'. Producer of the Telugu version Santosh Kumar says, 'The late NT Ramarao's daughter-in-law Madhavi Sai Krishna is the presenter of this film. We are extremely happy that we were able to dub the film which was made on the prestigious banner of BR Chopra in Telugu. The film has all elements like family, sentiment and love scenes which are liked by the Telugu audiences. That is why Amitabh Bachchan had advised us to dub the film into Telugu. Already the audio has become a big hit in Hindi. We will soon release the Telugu audio also in a week. The film would be released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages on December 8. Hema Malini, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Rani Mukherjee are in the lead cast, while Adesh Srivastava gave music for the film.'
Venumadhav to play solo hero in 'Premabhishekam'
Venumadhav started his career as a comedian. Director SV Krishna Reddy introduced him to the film industry as an artiste and earned a good image as a comedian. Later, he turned a hero again under SV Krishna Reddy's direction. He played as a co-hero with Ali in 'Hangama'. After playing comedian in few more films, he played a solo hero in 'Bhukailas' (Yekaram 50 Kotlu). Now, he is all set to play hero again under the direction of Vikram Gandhi in a film to be produced by Vijaykumar. According to available information 'Premabhishekam' is the title of the movie. Most possibly the film would be formally launched on October 21, the Vijayadasami Day. It is worth mentioning here that earlier a film with a similar title 'Premabhishekam' hit the Telugu screen with ANR and Sridevi in the lead under the direction of Dasari Narayana Rao and it is well aware that the movie was a blockbuster during those days.
