Come January 2008, and Tips Industries would be all set to unleash their biggest extravaganza ever RACE. RACE will be the buzz word of Bollywood. It features a star-cast comprising of the biggest and the best in Bollywood, Director Duo Abbas Mustan whose name defines the thriller genre in India wield the directorial baton for RACE. The movie is set against the beautiful locales of Durban and promises to be an edge of the seat excitement! The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy and Akshaye Khanna. Produced by Kumar Taurani & Ramesh Taurani, the film has music by Pritam and lyrics by Sameer.
RACE takes sizzle route
Promos of Ramesh Taurani's RACE have created quite a buzz in the industry. But besides the slick and international feel of RACE, directed by the master of the thriller genre Abbas-Mustan, the industry is abuzz about Bipasha Basu hot scenes with Saif Ali Khan. According to insiders Bipasha and Saif have shot a steamy song and a passionate scene in the film and both shared a comfort level and had no awkward moments during the shooting. Says Bipasha, "Right now in Bollywood, we can't feel awkward about doing any scene during shooting as we are informed well in advance about the story and screenplay. I am quite comfortable shooting for sizzling scenes as long as I know what I am supposed to do and am not uncomfortable about the idea. But yes, even if I would remotely sense any discomfort I will not do it." She adds, "But then it's not only me, the whole film is sizzling, All the characters have a lot of intimate scenes and not just me and Saif." She also adds," Race is a very sexy, slick and like an international thriller; the plot has a certain levels of intimacy." Ramesh Taurani, producer of Tips film confirms that there are very hot and steamy scenes between Bipasha and Saif in 'Race'. Says Mr. Taurani, "RACE has got a very international feel to it. It's been shot in exotic locales of Durban. There are intimate scenes between the other characters in the film but Saif and Bipasha are the hottest. But there is no kissing scene in the film and both Bipasha and Saif are very professional. And hence there were no awkward moments since both were comfortable with the scenes during the shooting."
RACE has already won the race?
Blockbuster in the making, RACE has already been voted as the No 1. Hottest film to look forward to in cyberspace. In a recent poll on which movie's popularity is decided based on the surfing patterns of millions of users, RACE was voted as No 1. film as it eclipsed other high profile forthcoming films. The ranking determines the popularity of movies, indicating a high level of public awareness and interest in that film. RACE, produced by Ramesh Taurani (TIPS films) and directed by master of the thriller genre Abbas-Mustan, is touted as one of the slickest thrillers in Bollywood. The promos, which have an international feel, have already created quite a buzz in the industry. Race the South Indian version
The number of Hindi films that are being dubbed in Tamil are steadily on the rise. Abbas Mustan's gripping multi star thriller 'Race' distributed worldwide by UTV Motion Pictures, is all set to release across 1600 screens worldwide in 26 countries this holiday weekend beginning March 21, 2008. Produced by Tips Industries Ltd 'Race' will have the highest number of shows ever screened in India with 3600 shows per day.
