He is a powerhouse of talent. And the moment he bursts on to the screen, the public expect him to be the mainstay of a movie. That's called: The Rajpal Yadav effect. The diminutive actor from Shahjahanpur has come a long way from winning the Filmfare Best Actor in a Negative role in 'Jungle'. After making his presence felt in the super hit 'Phir Hera Pheri' and being one of the main reasons for watching 'Chup Chup Ke', Rajpal is eagerly looking forward to two solo films 'Ladies Tailor' and 'Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain'. In 'Ladies Tailor' he shall be seen having designs on the tempting Kim Sharma while 'Hum Lalla Bol Rahe Hain' is in news because it is being produced by Nazim Rizvi. Yes, the same Nazim Rizvi who had produced Salman Khan's 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' and had been booked for having links with underworld don Chota Shakeel. Rizvi is out on bail and is busy giving interviews about his innocence and why he is making small films as compared to the biggie that he got caught with. It goes without saying that Rajpal is looking smashing from the stills of 'HLBRH' that are so far available in the media. Rajpal's earlier stint with solo leads in 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon' and 'Main Meri Patni Aur Woh' were highly appreciated. Both were labeled as flop films although Rajpal's performance was highly appreciated. While good actors like Arshad Warsi say it openly that it is not wise for them to do expect their solo films to be viable at the Box Office, Rajpal Yadav is still going ahead with the risk. It goes without saying that people in the interiors of the country love him and considering the low costs of his films, there's a good chance of him succeeding.
Radha Mohans sincerity
Mozhi is all set to be a big hit. What more, it is touted as a rare film, which is a critical success as well as a commercial hit. It is a happy indication for producer Prakash Raj and director Radha Mohan. The cute love story between a musician and a deaf and dumb girl works because it is very real and sensitive. The film is so credible because director Radha Mohan did a lot of homework for this venture. The director enrolled himself with the sign language course conducted by Ability Foundation, to understand the intricacies of it as the film's heroine is mute. Such sincerity has now paid dividends.
Radha clarifies rumours on Karthika marriage
It is known that stars are always mint with rumors making vibes around them, latest is Karthika. Some recent reports stated Karthika is getting married to her boyfriend, which are now rumored by her actress mother Radha. Yesteryear South Indian actress Radha clarified, “Karthika is just 21 years old and she will get married after four years from now. Media might have got mystified, as my sister Mallika’s daughter will be tied knot this month.” Meanwhile, Karthika is doing Deal with Arun Vijay in the direction of Siva Gnanam under Heamanth’s Feather Touch Entertainment production. Deal has music by SS Thaman and cinematography by M. Sukumar.
Radha Ravi in Tamil remake of 'Jolly LLB'
Veteran actor Radha Ravi will reprise Saurabh Shukla's National Award winning role in the yet-untitled Tamil remake of "Jolly LLB", a successful courtroom drama. "Radha Ravi sir has been brought on board. He will be playing the role of the justice, originally essayed by Saurabh Shukla," a source from the film's unit told. The remake will be helmed by I. Ahmed, and will feature Udhayanidhi Stalin and Prakash Raj in the roles Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, respectively. The regular shooting of the film starts from August 20. Rest of the cast will be finalised soon.
Radha Krishna Gets Launch Date
From the past few weeks, there have been reports that Maruthi will be making a film with Venkatesh. We have got a confirmation and the film is going to be launched soon. As of now, the makers have decided to start the film's shoot from December 16. The makers are thinking to wrap up the film in less number of working days and wanted to concentrate more on the promotions as they are playing a major role in the film's success. Radha Mohan chooses Ravichandran's granddaughter
We have already reported that veteran actor Ravichandran's granddaughter Tanya will make her Kollywood debut in a Mysskin directorial. However, it now looks like the pretty lass will first star in Radha Mohan's next with Arulnidhi in the lead. As always, the female lead will have a solid role in the film and Tanya is busy attending acting and dance workshops for the role. Reportedly, the film narrates the relationship between an actor and his fan.
