The 6th Kannada film audio album of Akshay Audio owned by successful 'Dhuniya' Kannada film producer T.P.Siddaraju ' 'Rajakumari' Kannada film audio album was released by realtor Krishnamurthy at KSCA club in Bangalore on last Monday evening. Crazy star trailblazer V.Ravichandran, music director V Harikrishna, two heroines Ramanithu Chaudhary, Kanniha were absent to this audio release function. The lead hero Balaji brother of V Ravichandran was present on the dais while Nikita Tukral the lead heroine of 'Rajakumari' came two hours late to the audio release function. Bless us the right talent, love the apt ones and allow good producers to grow said the hero of the film Balaji in his address. Director Govindu who has taken up his third film feels proud for having worked with one of the pillars of Kannada cinema V.Ravichandran. Songs are the invite to the audience to come theatre. Six songs have come out well he opined. I have come to cinema field not for money making but to churn out quality films said producer K.Manju who has produced the film with C.Venkatesh.
Puneeth Rajkumar's Next Confirmed With Gautham Menon?
Yes, you read it right! According to a leading Tamil magazine, director Gautham Vasudev Menon has confirmed that Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar has been signed for his next movie which will be a multi-starrer. Several times in the past, Puneeth has expressed his desire to work with directors like Gautham Menon and looks like his dream of working with Gautham is materializing this year. A few years ago, a project with Puneeth and Gautham Menon was announced by Chi Gurudatt, but the project was shelved for reasons better known to the team. Gautham Menon has also said in the interview that Anushka and Tamannah are signed to play the leading ladies in this multi-starrer. Along with Puneeth, Malayalam actor Prithviraj, Telugu Star Sai Dharam Tej are already on board to play the lead roles. As per the sources, a Tamil star will be signed very soon, to join the fantastic star cast. With this ensemble cast of stars, a fantastic movie can be expected for sure. But there is no update as to whether the movie will be made in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously or will be shot in one language and dubbed into other languages. We have to wait for more details to be revealed. Meanwhile, Puneeth has wrapped up the shoot for Dodmane Huduga recently, in Bangalore, where he shot for the introduction song of the movie sung by himself. Lakhs of Powerstar fans participated in the song shoot. After Dodmane Huduga, he will start shooting for Santhosh Anandram's Raajkumara, for which he has already shot the first schedule in Australia.
Puneeth Rajkumar To Star In The Remake Of Tamil Movie Poojai
After completing Raajkumara, Puneeth will start shooting for A Harsha's film, which is the remake of Tamil movie Poojai.. Just when we thought Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar would start shooting for Pavan Wadeyar's film after Raajkumara, the Power Star has surprised one and all by giving a 'go ahead' for a different film, which will go on the sets from December. Appu has given his call sheet to choreographer turned director A Harsha. Harsha has been entrusted with the responsibility of remaking Tamil hit Poojai which had Vishal and Shruthi Hassan playing the lead roles. MN Kumar and Jayashri Devi, who are basking in the success of Upendra and Sudeep starrer Mukunda Murari, will be bankrolling this project which has already created a huge buzz just with the formal announcement. Harsha has choreographed a number of hit songs for Appu, but this is the first time he will be directing the star. He has only done 'swamakes' so far and he usually stays away from remakes. But he accepted a remake film because he did not want to let go off the opportunity to direct Appu. In the past he had rejected the offer to direct the remake of Telugu film Kick, for the same producer MN Kumar. The makers intend to shoot the major portions of the film in Rajasthan and Bangalore. The director is also looking to cast actors, who have not worked with Appu in the past, as he feels this will give a new look to the film. Puneeth has a few more days of shoot left for Raajkumara. He will be completing the work for the film by December, and after a brief break he will join the sets of Harsha's film. More details about the cast and crew are yet to be revealed. Th team has already begun the pre-production work as producers are looking forward to start shoot of the film in January 2017.
Puneeth voice for Shiva Rajkumar
The Power Star Puneeth Rajakumar is following the foot steps of his father Dr.Rajkumar. After the super hit song for 'Sampathige Savaal', 'Yaare Koogadali Oore horadli' in the yesteryears Dr.Rajakumar replaced Dr.P.B.Srinivas as playback singer to his films as he had the mellifluous voice. Dr.Rajkumar not only sung the songs for his films but he showed his mettle in devotional songs. Frequently he sung for outside banner films. The last song of Dr.Rajakumar was for 'Prema Dhare' that was released this year but the song was recorded years ago. Now the welcome news is that Puneeth Rajakumar has sung a high pitch song for his elder brother Shivarajkumar in the film 'Lav Kusha' that also star Upendra, Jennifer Kotwal and Charmi in the lead roles. For the song 'Hottappa Hottu Sakathu hottu' Puneeth Rajkumar recorded in two days at Prasad Recording studio in Kanteerava studios. Kaviraj has written the song and Gurukiran is the music director of this film. Puneeth Rajkumar sung a song for 'APPU' his debut film. That was Talibaan Alla Alla... written by actor cum director Upendra. That song became a rage. Earlier to this Puneeth Rajakumar rendered his voice to Shivarajkumar in the film 'Rishi'. That was a Bhangra song. Superstar Shivarajkumar was present at the recording of the song by his brother. This song and dance portion was shot at Singapore recently. Chytra is the co singer for Puneeth Rajkumar. When this song shooting was going on at Singapore we decided about Puneeth Rajkumar to sing this song says producer K.Prabhakar who made 'Anna Thangi' the mega hit film starring Shivarajkumar and Radhika last year. He has plans to release the audio album of 'Lava Kusha' in the first week of November and release the film in the end of this month. Veteran of 85 films Om Saiprakash is the director of this film 'Lav Kush'.
Ravichandran visits Raghavendra Rajkumar at Hospital
The set of a grand house that is being used for Sudeep-Ravichandran starrer Mirchi has cost the producer Rs 35 lakh. There is a permanent set of a house in Hyderabad which was first built for SS Rajamouli's Maryada Ramanna. This has been used for more than 25 Telugu films so far. When a new film is shot, alterations are made to the set and over the last few years, the house has undergone so many changes that it does not look anything like how it was first. The biggest change has now been made to the set for the Kannada film. Sources in the film team said that changes worth Rs 35 lakh has been made and the set now looks nothing like it has been seen the two dozen Telugu films or so. Another set, which is similarly used by many films is also being altered for use. The shooting in the new set has commenced and Sudeep is gung ho about how the work is progressing. The actor has recently crooned a song which includes Kundapura dialect, for upcoming movie titled 'Bilindar' and now, the song has gone viral in the social media. The Powerstar has lent his voice for song 'Chilri Shooki' which is making rounds on the official fan pages of the actor in Facebook and Twitter. Though Puneeth has experimented, the actor has given his best and the film-makers are happy about it. Till now, Puneeth aka Appu has lent his voice for the best songs in the Kannada movies. Puneeth has crooned best song 'Kanadanthe Maayavaadanu' as a child artist. After turning as a lead hero, the Powerstar has sung 54 songs in the movies. He is one among the best play back singers of KFI. Apart from being the Superstar of Sandalwood, Puneeth Rajkumar lends his voice in the movies without taking remuneration, say sources. The actor is following his father 'Varanata' Dr Rajkumar through his best acting and singing. On the career front, Puneeth is awaiting the release of his next movie Chakravyuha directed by M Saravanan and produced by NK Lohith. Chakravyuha, the 24th film of the Rana Vikrama actor stars Rachita Ram in female lead and it is slated to release on April 8th.
