But then, I was planning for a long time to make a film on the vein of movies like 'Satya' and 'Company', with a realistic approach. Now, the script is geared up to be made in to a movie. We are going to make this movie posing an all new cast. The reason for casting new faces is that they will not have a prior image set upon them, and will give a fresh feel to the concept. Twin brothers Dharma ' Raksha are debuting as the directors for this film. 'Raktha Charithra' is produced by One More Thoughts along with Zed 3 productions. The recent hit 'Raksha' was produced by the same duo who is joining hands once again for this next. RGV answered a few questions on the meet that was held to unveil the logo of 'Raktha Charithra'. Raktha Charitra is disparate
RGV's production house earlier made a supernatural thriller 'Raksha' in Telugu and is now gearing up to make their next venture 'Raktha Charitra'. Ram Gopal Varma has scouted for new talents and has ended up with the youngsters Dharma and Raksha. The movie is to be based on the factionism that took place in the Anantapur District. But, the maker strongly denies that the movie in no way supports such illegal factions. On a meet, RGV said, "The film will neither have a hero nor a heroine. It is narrated right up the point without any deviations including songs. It's about the intra-pyschic conflict of a person sucked into factional feuds. When I made a visit to the bomb sites, I was surprised to find hospitality from those people from the badlands." Ramu continues that Dharma and Raksha will be making the movie that delves into the minds of the bombers who are trapped in unforeseen circumstances and gets struck to a point of no return. Known for making subjects that are woven around the underworld dons or controversies, the director who captivated the audience with 'Shiva' is now back in Telugu with 'Raktha Charitra' to portray the obscene reality in his own distinct style of narration.
RGV's next based on a chapter from 'Rakhta Charitra'
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's next Telugu film "Spot" will be based on a chapter from his own 2010 film "Rakhta Charitra". "I will never forget the incidents I came across and the people I met during the making of 'Rakhta Charitra'. But I couldn't do even 10 percent justice to whatever I encountered in both parts of 'Rakhta Charitra' due to several reasons," he said in the video. RGV's "Rakhta Charitra" is a biopic based on the life of factionist-turned-politician Paritala Ravi. "Just like the Mahabharat, 'Rakhta Charitra' too has many chapters. One such chapter is the killing of Obul Reddy by Paritala Ravi's henchmen. I've decided to turn that chapter into a film called 'Spot'," he said. He added that "Spot" will throw light on the reasons and planning behind Reddy's murder in broad daylight in an apartment in Hyderabad. "Obul Reddy's killing that shook the entire state Hyderabad took place in 1996 in Masab Tank. I've learnt about everything behind this murder from the people who were involved in it recently.
