The film that was originally named 'Ettappan' has had a name change because of protests from a section of society. The director of the film, Vidhyadaran, settled on the title 'Rasikkum Seemane'. The film stars Srikanth and Navya Nair. Since the new title is reminiscent of the evergreen Sivaji Ganesan starrer Parasakthi's catchy song, 'O Rasikkum Seemane' sung by the legendary actress Bhanumathy, the director now plans to incorporate the same song with a little bit of remix. Although shooting of the film is complete and post production work is going on, the filmmaker wants to shoot the remix song as he thinks that would be highly entertaining to the audiences. Plans are on to rope in an attractive leading actress to sway to the tunes along with Srikanth. The director plays the role of an old man who lures the hero into bad ways.
'Rasikkum Seemane' & 'Tamizhagam' audio to see light of day
The audio launch for the film 'Rasikkum Seemane' is slated be held on the 20th of August. The film stars Srikanth and Navya Nair. A highlight about the film's music album is that a yesteryear classic song rendered by actress Banumathy has been remixed for modern audiences. The film is directed by Vidhyadaran who has also donned the role of a bad man who lures the hero into evil ways. 'Rasikkum Seemane' was originally named 'Ettappan' but the producers of the film had to change the name as there were protests from a section of society. 'Rasikkum Seemane' has music by Vijay Antony. Meanwhile, Madha Movie Makers are coming up with a film titled 'Tamizhagam' and the movie's music album was launched recently at the AVM Studios. Director K. Bhagyaraj released the first copy and was received by producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu. Actress Archana, Rocky Rajesh, Producers Arun, Chandrashekar, director Suresh Kumar and music director Asif Ali took part in the function.
