New Delhi: Ravi Shastri will continue to be Team India's director on its upcoming tour of Bangladesh. On Tuesday, the BCCI officially named the former Test all-rounder for a short-term role. This will be Shastri's second stint as Team India boss in Bangladesh. He had stepped in as manager following Greg Chappell's resignation as coach in 2007. Shastri has served as director since India's ODI series in England last summer. His role was extended till the end of the World Cup 2015 when his contract expired. Duncan Fletcher was the head coach alongside Shastri. The Zimbabwean's contract also expired at the end of the World Cup. In his 'second innings', Shastri will once again be joined by Sanjay Bangar and Bharat Arun, who will continue to serve as the batting and bowling coaches, respectively. R Sridhar was also retained as the fielding coach. Bangar, Arun and Sridhar had also joined the squad in England, replacing Trevor Penney and Joe Dawes. Ravi Teja's record
It is difficult being a mass hero. But Ravi Teja has been managing that with a modicum of comfort. He has at least a hit every year. His last major show was Bhadra. It was a runaway success. His movie for Ram Gopal Verma production was also not bad. Now the same feeling of expectation is aroused when he gets down to do a new film named Vikramarkudu. The movie will be a biggie as Ravi Teja joins hands with S S Rajamouli and M L Kumar Chowdary. The latter is the producer while the former is the director. Now Rajamouli doesn't need any special introduction. His ability to come up with clear entertainment is well known. So Vikramarkudu has generated much expectation. Anushka, the actress who is now very popular, is playing the female lead. As if she alone is not enough, Ruthika the siren girl, is also in the cast. Rajamouli has kept the schedules tight and is working on a specific time frame. The film is expected to release in July. And Ravi Teja can hope to keep the winning record going.
Ravi Teja - It's all happening
Ravi Teja cannot be happier. After all the years of struggle and stress, he has arrived at the portals of stardom. With a sequence of hits like Bhadra and Vikramarkudu, the mass hero has underlined his staying power. And if he continues his good work, he is certainly destined for greater things. Ravi Teja, however, understands that the stay at the top is even more difficult than the climb to it. So he is not relaxing. In fact, if anything, he has redoubled his efforts. But at the same time, he is enjoying the smell of hard-earned success. I feel very happy that the first dual role for me has worked, he says and quickly adds that it was the efforts of the director that made it work. Such self-effacing ways are what make him tick.
Ravi Teja with hot and happening directors

There is every possibility that, Y.V.S.Choudary will produce the film on his home banner Bommarilu. The title 'Saleem' is in consideration for the film. Director Puri Jagannadh, who gave him an altogether different look in the film 'Amma Naana O Tamil Ammayi', will have join hands once again with him after a long gap.
