First look teaser of Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo will be launched on June 9th along with the film’s theme music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is being directed by Baghyaraj and it has been produced on a massive budget that they have eminent technicians like PC Sreeram behind the camera, Resul Pookutty for sound design, Muthuraj for art direction and Anu Parathasarathy for costumes. Sean Foot, who earlier worked in Shankar’s I is taking care of Sivakarthikeyan’s different looks in the film. Keerthy Suresh of Rajini Murugan fame is the romantic interest of Remo and KS Ravikumar too plays an important role.
'Remo' title changed?
Since yesterday there have been rumors doing rounds that actor Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming romantic entertainer 'Remo' has undergone for a title change due to Tax exemption concerns. It is said that the title has been changed as 'Renganathan Engira Mohana' to make it a Tamil title which is one of the basic criteria for a film to be eligible for Entertainment tax exemption given by the Tamil Nadu State Government. However the makers of 'Remo' have denied this as a baseless rumor. The title of the film will remain as 'Remo' forever and it will not be changed. 'Remo' the proper name of a character. It is neither a short form of any other name nor a combination of two names. Directed by debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja under 24AM Studios banner. ;Remo' is all set to hit the screens on October 7 on account of Aayutha Pooja holiday. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
Remo producer RD Raja on releasing the film all over on the same date
Piracy is a weed plaguing the film industry. Although there are various measures to curb these activities, the issue continues to threaten. Last night Remo producer RD Raja of 24 AM studios had tweeted, “As a Policy all our .@24AMSTUDIOS's films will release in overseas market only after release in tamilnadu.1st step 2 stop leaks #Remo will release one day later n OVERSEAS market,d same day 7th October after the first show starts in TAMILNADU.2/2” We got in touch with the young producer to get the details and this is what he had to say: “I have been thinking about this for a long time. Whenever we release a film, it should be done uniformly on the same date and at the same time all over the world. When a film is released one day prior it gives rise to illegal CDs, downloads and multiple reviews. This is my baby step to eradicate piracy. We are going to do some solid steps in this direction. It is basically a collective effort. There is a myth that piracy happens overseas. But I am not concurring with that. But, assuming it is so, I am taking these measures to eliminate that by not releasing the film there first. I am going to have a specific mark in all the prints. I cannot bring a drastic change overnight, but I am going to follow the steps one by one. I am sure some kind of clarity will emerge with this. Of course, follow-ups are also necessary. More than anything there should be a self responsibility and ethics within us”. We hope that such steps help the industry get over this menace.
'Remo' Team up again
It seems young and ambitious producer RD Raja has been on a spree of announcing new films under his 24AM Studios banner. While his debut production venture 'Remo' is yet to hit the screens, Raja has already announced three more projects- Sivakarthikeyan-Nayanthara starrer to be directed by Mohan Raja, Nivin Pauly starrer to be directed by Prabhu Radhakrishnan and another Siva Karthikeyan-Samantha starrer to be directed by Ponram. Now he has announced his fifth project. This film will be directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan, the writer-director of 'Remo'. Raja has watched the first copy of 'Remo' yesterday and he is mightily impressed with the output. The film of the debutant director has made him extremely happy that he has announced that 24AM Studios banner will produce Bhagyaraj Kannan's second film also. Bhagyaraj Kannan is a former associate of director Atlee. The cast and crew details of his second directorial can be expected to be officially announced by producer Raja, soon.

The much awaited music of Sivakarthikeyan's Remo is all set to be launched on Sept 5. Music composed by Anirudh is one of the key highlights of the film, which is getting ready for an Oct 7 release. This Sivakarthikeya-Keerthy Suresh starrer is expected to be a perfect entertainer. Remo has a renowned crew list that includes director Bakkiyaraj, producer RD Raja, cinematographer PC Sreeram and music director Anirudh.
